A winding up order has been issue by Kettering Town against DRC Locums, a company who's chairman is James "Dragon " Caan, over unpaid sponsorship money. The Poppies' creditors are being asked to contact the company directly, and have published the phone numbers on the offical site.Surely it's not the responsability of Kettering's creditors to do the Poppies' debt chasing ? http://www.ketteringtownfc.co.uk/story.php?story_id=773

Or it'll make more sense. A big town, with no one to support

Or it'll make more sense. A big town, with no one to support Well said Wolvo ! It's nice to see another poster that hat has a little forsight as opposed to being blinded by tradition and the unwillingness to recognise a changing world. There's a very strong possibility that neither the Dims or the Poppies will be fulltime clubs representing the county next season. That of course leaves us, and our future is certainly not healthy, particularly if we are relegaTED.

I hear that Gazza is sat outside Nene Park with a kebab & a fishing rod
|
Do you know what "Nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.

I read about Kettrin and and Direones with increasing agogness. You really couldn't make it up at the moment!

Moving to Nene park could have a really positive effect on the Poppies, not only do they get a fantastic ground and set up, they also have the chance to attract lots of new fans in the coming seasons from wellingboro and surrounding areas including Northampton as it's only a 15 minuet drive from the eastern districts. I predict league football for Kettering in 5 seasons!

Not a chance.
They won't even be called Kettering Town in 2 years time and will more likely out of business in 5.

We'll see soon enough. On a slightly different matter, the friendly well wishes and mutual respect shown between both Poppies and Cobblers fans that sprung up at the on set of what is formally known as Rushden and Diamonds, just wondering, can this continue or do we now enter an era of hatred and loathing?

How is a club with an average attendance of 1300 and a small budget and paying a similar rent at Nene Park going to survive where a club of a similar size and support couldn't?

I heard last night that Ladak is about to pull the plug on the Poppies. KTFC Supporters are already planning to relaunch as Kettering Phoenix. I wonder if DC will make their supporters the same offer he extended to the Dimones?

£18 ticket prices as well. I can't see tham attracting many floaters to Nene Park.Perhaps this is all party of the same plan ?
