Glorious day here in Sunderland today, so I concur with that! Although Darlington away in the FA cup a couple of years back was not a pleasant experience. Took the girlfriend to the Darlo Arena, 25,000 seats, 2,500 people, freezing cold, rubbish game (1-1), she vowed never to watch the Cobblers again (and hasn't), so suppose it wasn't all bad. . .

I remember in 1976 walking inside many empty lakes at the back of Newport Pagnell & the stink of dead rotting fish.

Do you know what "Nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.

I can remember that year the Pitsford water drying up and you could walk across the old causeway.

Good work Mr Artlenock, I shall join in properly later once I've taken the Bingers Boys to school. I'm meant to be working from home today, so there is loads of scope for posting bollocks on here.

In '76 we could walk across to and explore the previously virgin island in the middle of the Eastfield Park lake....

Yes, a photo of the dried up cracked bed became symbolic nationally of that long hot dry Summer.

Thank you Mr Bingers. I've got some pretty good cloud pics I'd love to post up but I don't think the facility to do that has been enabled? Marquis?

Find the image you want...so http://www.weatherscapes.com/photo.php?cat=optics&id=w-414-04... then right click the image and click "view image" and you should see this.... http://www.weatherscapes.com/Photos/w-414-04.jpgThen past that URL into the text box, highlight it all and click "insert image" in the things above the smileys. (Its the second bottom left) and your done If you want to upload your own image, use something like photobucket or tiny pic. Once it's uploaded, pick the option of the messageboard url...click on it (you may have to right click then copy not sure) and then just paste in to the text box and your done If its a big picture, it's best to use photobucket etc so you can re-size it, as big photos take a while to load and can make a thread go dodgy, thus making it hard for people to post. Hope that helps.

And so is Michael Fish! Anyway, one doesn't have to be a sad weather geek to enjoy the weather forecast. Unless you are from Finland! Thanks Enya for the advice!
