Boston United were held to a 1-1 draw at home by bottom side Blyth Spartans in their latest Blue Square North match.....the attendance dipped to 986 and there were three ex-Cobblers in the Boston side....Canoville, Lee and Constantine.

Over 2000 Salisbury City fans made the long journey from South Wiltshire to Sheffield to see Salisburys run in this seasons FA Cup end after a 3-1 defeat to a very good Sheffield United side while Salisbury played well the gap in class was too large & once United took the lead they never really looked like beating the home side, but they gave it a good go so well done you whites.
its back to the league on tuesday when they travel to Purfleet to play Thurrock

Newport Pagnell Town's run in the FA Vase came to an end in from what I have heard from others a very pulsating game which they lost very unluckily to AFC Ashington 3-2 in front of the biggest EVER crowd of 664. Shocked

Bury Town have played five games in the League & Cup since my last update after their 2-0 win over Carshalton.

Daniel Cunningham and Lee Reed (2) saw off the challenge of Needham Market in the Suffolk Premier Cup Quater Final
Back in League action, goals from Lee Reed and Lee Smith weren't enough as Bury succombed to a 4-2 defeat at Concord Rangers.
A John Sands brace saw Bury progress in the Alan Boon cup with a 2-0 win at Hastings United
Sam Reed and a goal in the 3rd minute of injury time from John Sands saw off title chasing AFC Hornchurch in a 2-1 win at the Ram

Yesterday John Sands, Sam Nunn and a hatrick from Lee Smith saw Bury coast to a 5-0 win at Leatherhead yesterday.

Bury currently sit in 5th place in the Ryman League Premier Division and are serious challengers for a play off place.
