New Years eve saw us have 17 guessers and a wide variation of scoring between us. Five guessers made double figure scores, Deepcut Cobbler pulling in 12 points, but New Dawn Fades went one better and got a lucky for him 13 points.
Tuks great run of scoring continues, 31 points in 3 weeks is some going, and he now has a 9 point lead at the top.

Seventeen guessers for week 22, it was FA Cup 3rd round week and while we had a number of correct forecasts, the actual correct scores were much harder to find! New Dawn Fades was top scorer again this week, he got 11 points and left everyone else in his wake. New Dawn is now equal second after a good recent run, but another 7 points for Tuks means he's opening up a bit of a gap at the top.

Week 23 saw one postponement amongst our 10 games, we had 17 guessers this week....4 players tied for the honours each picking up 10 points....Deepcut Cobbler, dave, GrangeParkCobbler and Doc Feelgood were top dogs.
Doc F narrows the gap on the leader slightly.

Only 16 guessers for week 24, with a strange set of results producing one of the lowest scoring weeks for a long time. There was a "nil point" and a couple of ones too, and the highest scorer this week picked up just seven points...well done Cox23Jam who moves up a place to 4th...little else changes in the table though.

16 guessers again this week, an average week for most, but one exception who streaked away picking up 12 points was Oldbloke. He moves back into 4th and within 10 points of the leader Tuks, who in turn sees his lead cut back to just 2 points as Doc F enjoys a mini resurgence.

We only had 14 guessers for week 26, perhaps the weather played a part as only 6 of the 10 games made the cut with The Cobblers game amongst those called off.
Yours truly was the only one not to score any points though, St Ed managed 7 points, PhilNtfc got 8 but it was SingCobb who topped the pile this week picking up 9 points. Tuks failure to guess means that he is overhauled and Doc Feelgood returns to the top of the table.

Week 27, another weather affected week saw only 5 games beat the freeze....we only had 13 guessers this week....for some reason even I didnt get my guesses in!
Another good week for SingCobb who polled 6 points as did Dave, but it was SXCobbler who top scored with 8 points.
Doc Feelgood only managed 1 point, tuks failed to guess so Oldbloke and Cox23Jam bring themselves into contention at the top.

We had 15 guessers for week 28, and all 10 fixtures were played this week! St Edmundsbury Cobbler picked up 10 points, but it was oop_north who top scored, after going for the novel approach of just saying "all 2-0"......and three of the games finished that score with another three points for other home wins giving him 12 points overall this week....very clever!!
Tuks picked up 8 points to Docs 5 so they swap again at the top.

17 guessers took part in week 31 of the PL, a good week for most, with Doc Feelgood picking up 10 points, BSCobbler getting 11, but philntfc pipped them all on his way to a round dozen. Phil marches up to 5th overall, but the Docs points enable him to take over at the top once more, albeit by a solitary point.

Well, well, well....week 32 was a strange scoring week! 17 guessers (again), and the majority well down on the usual scoring. Our previous leader Doc Feelgood only managed a single point, Tuks only got 3 with Oldbloke picking up 6.....but the real star of the show this week, correctly predicting the score of 4 games and the results of another two was Deepcut Cobbler.....14 points in total!
So, after all that we are back to having a tight top of the table, with the top 4 players now only separated by three points. Tuks regains the lead, but a good week for Cox23Jam pulls him right up into contention.

Oldbloke goes top of the league, and is the first to crack the 200 point barrier this season.....it looks like the top 4 are going to contest the title between themselves with none of the chasing pack able to get a consistent run of scoring going.

Week 35 was the bumper Easter weekend programme and as such we had a double Prediction League to guess at with 20 fixtures on our cards. Some good scoring, some not so good! Oldbloke managed to grab 20 points from those games, but it was Coboz who top scored with a pontoon-like 21!
Is that the decisive move made by Oldbloke? Tuks struggled in with 9 points and lost a lot of ground.

Week 36 saw us back to 10 fixtures to guess at, and 16 players had a pop this week.
The week was notable for an outstanding display of predicting by Claret Lady who managed to correctly forecast 9 of the 10 fixtures, in fact the only one she failed on was The Cobblers home defeat to Bradford!! 3 correct scores and 6 other correct forecasts probably goes down as the best week ever guessed by anyone, certainly since I've been doing this!! Well done!!! 15 points to Claret Lady, four players next best with 9 apiece.
Second and third place were two of those to get 9 points, so closing the gap slightly on Oldbloke who only managed 6 this week.

And so onto the final week of the Prediction League...our regular seventeen guessers came out to play, better scoring this week with four players managing double figure totals, Dave and SingCobb with 10 each, Doc Feelgood with 11 and BSCobbler topping the pile this week with 12.
A number of positional changes as Doc Feelgood moved into the top 3......but the poistions of the top 2 didnt change, both scored 9 points in the final week so its well done to oldbloke who is crowned Hotel End Prediction League Champion 2011/12.
