Did anyone hear what the Chelsea fans were chanting last night away at Genk about Anton Ferdinand?
It's been plastered all over the news that 'Chelsea condemn the songs from their fans' so just wondered what they were actually saying.
Surely their fans have seen the you tube video of him clearly aiming racist words at Ferdinand?

After Terry called him a 'black ****' last weekend.

Now pleading for himself to be selected? Harry Redknapp got it right the other night when he said that if the allegations are true John Terry should be finished. He didn't beat about the bush. Funny watching him sprawling on the floor following the through ball against the Gunners.

That isn't in question he has admitted that. The problem is whether they are able to determine without reasonable doubt or in a convincing high probability (depending on the method of trial) that he wasn't responding to something Anton said, as is claimed. I believe that he will get off with it because it will not stand up in court, although that is just my opinion.

8 match ban and £40k fine for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. Bets on Terry getting let off then?

Terry hasn't been so nervous since Wayne Bridge pulled up on his driveway half an hour earlier than expected. Or since the time his mum went shopping and asked him if he wanted anything picking up...or since his dad asked him if he wanted to powder his nose...or since his brother, no I'll leave that one. Testament that you can't buy class. England captain material my ****. Knowing how inconsistent the FA are, they will probably send him a bunch of flowers and a 'sorry' card. The general public can't sympathise or connect with these players anymore, who will earn more in six months than the majority of us will earn in a lifetime.

Unfortunately he had admitted saying it. What was the bollox with the t-shirts? Scouse victims again?

One might argue the same of Redknapp if he gets sent down for tax evasion on 23rd January which may well be related to illegal payments. He's hardly a stranger to controversy himself.

Should never be going to court, especially in 6 months time. He can get a maximum of £1k fine, waste of time. Drop him from England set up and move on.

Should he really have spent 90 mins in the company of the victim last Saturday?

Madness that the courts have decided to wait until after the Euros. This incident happened over 3 months ago. Why on earth do we have to have this hanging over both players for another 5 months? If they had sorted a court date for late Feb or early March, the FA could've waited until a result and then taken action, which would've been much fairer. The courts have unfairly forced the FA's hand here, as due to the circumstances, whether guilty or not, JT's position was untenable and he had to be stripped of the captaincy.
As for a replacement, I do not want Gerrard, as he was a rather timid captain in South Africa. That World Cup is best forgotten, so in giving Gerrard the captaincy again would be a backwards step. Whilst I may get shot down for this, I think he should give it to a younger player. Wilshere would be my preference, although I would be happy with Hart or Richards.. All 3 should be guarenteed places in the side (pending Wilshere getting fit again), and Wilshere has been touted as future captain by Fabio himself. Why wait? It worked for Wales to a degree with Ramsey and would really kickstart the next generation of England stars.
