Herbert was a first team player for us and played in a winning team at Anfield! Until Wilson gets on the pitch for us in a game we wont know if he is good enough.

Wasn't that what I said Kiss

I'm eternally grateful but I can think of no footballing reason why Michael Jacobs is still at the club.
There are times where he reminds me of a Sunday league player that's so much better than his team mates that he won't pass to them because he knows they will only c0ck it up.

I have to disagree, while he does show moments of class that will inevitably see him move uo the leagues he does disappear for large spells of the game, he still has a lot to learn.

He's just turned 20 and he's playing in a struggling team , the lad is a class player , all these people having "digs" at him will be back on here when he moves up the leagues saying "I always said he was a good player"  Roll Eyes

Would be nice if we could get Cody McDonald on loan from Coventry. Re-unite him with Bayo perhaps?

He looks a bit like a ginger Fellaini. He always plays the game with a smile on his face but I'm not sure he's what we need at the moment as wherever he goes it tends to turn things into a bit of a circus.

I am sure many will be saying exactly that when he does leave, I am also sure that everyone will have only the highest opinions of him. The point that I was trying to get across was that I would not say that he is considerably better than the rest of the team, and he does have a lot to learn.

I can't think of another time at The Cobblers when a non-loan player was so ridiculouusly better than his team mates. Even recently Bradley Johnson and Luke Chambers didn't stand out so much. There's nothing he can learn here.

Bradley and Luke had better players around them.

Very interesting point this, the only other i could think of is Gyepes as I always thought he would be off first chance he got.

Bradley and Luke had better players around them.

Also agree with this though , that was a better squad
