Just watching the Liverpool v Man Utd game on TV and the Liverpool fans keep booing Evra's every touch and singing "One Luis Suarez". Not one or two of them either, it's embarrassing.
If it was Northampton fans doing that I'd be ashamed.

I'm really not sure what else you expected?
The Club made their stance with their T-Shirts and refused to admit he was in the wrong. They set the tone by not condoning what happened so hardly suprising that their fans chose to do the same

Northampton fans singing to Fulham (from the West Stand) 'Where's your Foxy gone' might on reflection be deemed worse than anything the Scousers have come out with!

Anyone else agree that Dalglish's stance on Suarez-gate has become frankly embarrassing?

Yep, it's cringeworthy. He's been found guilty and served his punishment, so Dalglish should just stop bleating about it and get on with his job. Mind you, I dislike Liverpool in general and Kenny Dalglish in particular so I might be biased!

And again... The chance to put everything to bed and instead Suarez shows himself to be a complete prick.

Some collectors items after the game today to be sure - diplomacy from Rooney, contrition from Ferguson... Plus plenty of the usual from Dalglish making an absolute, world class twonk of himself.

I couldn't agree more. I also think that's the first time I've seen MOTD show both their own post match interview and the one from Sky. After Dalglish was so rude to their interviewer I bet Sky were offering it around to everyone! It's just a shame they cut it off midway through so a wider audience didn't get to enjoy him rambling away about it all somehow being the media's fault and really showing himself up.

The more I listen to Dalglish, the more I reckon he's losing the plot. He went out his way to stitch up Hodgson and is no fcuking better. If Liverpool want to double the debt and get fcuk all. they've got just the man in Dalglish.

They can't stop portraying themselves as the victims. I can't see how they can twist this one around.

They will try as they always do for everything.. A great club, with great tradition and massive respect around the world being undone, being ridiculed, their reputation and standing being destroyed by a(n) Uraguayan, assisted by a Scottish and Liverpool playing legend who hasn't two'apeth of intelligence to rub together. It is a shame, because a lot of the ordinary Scouse fans are being conned by their blind loyalty and failure to accept any criticism of Kenny Dalgleish. Although there were a few on 606 and Talksport tonight that were prepared to voice some. In this case SAF was right, he was speaking as someone who, despite the rivalry, respects what Liverpool of the past stands for. Shanks, Paisley, Fagan et al must be turning in their graves.

It's like the fact the Liverpool fans keep singing "There's only one lying b*stard" at Evra. So he made it all up, did he? In that case, if nothing was said, why did Liverpool feel the need to come out with all that stuff about "cultural differences"? Apparently yesterday some of them were even saying that it was Evra who pulled his hand away! That's the equivalent of closing your eyes, sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting "la la la can't hear you...."

I frankly don't like either team, can't stand Alex Ferguson and have been saying for weeks that Dalglish will walk before the start of next season. Like Keegan he has previous in that regard. Having lived in Liverpool for 4 years I have very different views on Hillsborough because I know what the scallies used to get up to. But in this instance Fergie was bang out of order saying what he did in a post match TV interview (the same Fergie who has refused post match interviews for years when it suited him) and has stepped beyond the bounds by interfering in Liverpool's internal affairs. Had he said that to Dalglish's face in private, OK, but publicly he should keep his big gob shut. We could equally have said that he should have got rid of Ferdinand after he skipped drug tests. Or Cantona after the Palace incident. Or Keane after he ruined Haarland's career with that disgraceful tackle.

My four-penn'orth.
Remove the emotion, and look at the video from all angles. Why did Evra raise his hand to shake every other Liverpool player's hand, but keep his hand significantly lowered when Saurez came past? Why was he more intent on trying to show the cameras that there was an issue with Saurez, and then not shake Reina's hand? Why was the ref lecturing Evra after the incident? Surely if Saurez was at fault, he would go after him?
This is the same Evra, who in the past claimed that he was racially abused by the Senegalise national team (he was born in Senegal, but chose to play for France instead).
Also, the same Evra who led the player's strike in the World Cup, and was suspended by the French FA as a result.
I'm not saying Saurez is blameless. What I'm saying is that football supporters and footballers are too quick to judge without any facts. Let's wait until the FA inquiry (if there is one), where those closest to the incident will have their say. I'm sure the FA will make the politically correct decision.

I know where you are coming from on those incidents listed, which were also brought up by callers and contributors last night. What people forget is that in each of those, ManUre accepted the judgements and punishment and moved on. Unfortunately Liverpool et al are refusing to do that. If they had held up their hands, accepted the judgement, said that it was not acceptable and wouldn't happen again, in other words "shook hands on it" and then allowed it all to move on we would all be saying well done Liverpool......However
