the quest for a clean sheet......ntfc didnt concede a goal in the first 2 league matches and only conceded the 1 goal against a championship side. This was with a consitent back four that didnt need to be changed.....however some of you on here seem impossible to please and still called for changes despite being unbeaten......i know from people on the inside that players began to be dropped not for playing poorly but because the fans where complaining and big gary johnson wanted the fans on his side so you got your wish and things where changed.......now languishing at the foot of the football league i harbour a large amount of the blame of users of this site, the regular posters and all you budding fabio cappelos out there. examples of this that back up my arguement that you fail to be pleased. Langmead was hated and took so much stick from you lot it was unreal, now hes the best thing since sliced bread. lewis young, destined for the premier league at the start of the season now you wouldnt have him on the bench never mind the first 11.......reading this post i can imagine your angry at my opinion (the truth) but if you look back over the season at how hypocritical some of the people on here are, and bearing in mind DC reads this and probably relays your opinions to the manger, you cant say your attitude to certian players has being anything other than disgraceful......you deserve as much blame as anyone else for the failings this season......clean sheets werent an issue at the start of the season now these days you couldnt buy one.....now ask yourself how many of the orginal back four figure your (ideal) back four?....my point should now be proven.....you lot have been the hinderance this season and deserve your league position, the players dont, and the staff at northampton dont, but you lot do
Yup thats it mate, tis the fans fault! Hilarious post. The one thing you got right was a lot of fans are hypocritical/fickle. You got so much wrong though it is stunning.

And the winner of the most rediculous post of 2012 anywhere on the internet goes to Cobblers1989.

Could play Langmead up front, bit more mobile than Bayo, would certainly win his fair share of headers
Carlisle and Webster with JJ at right back
We only have one left back
Does AB have history of playing 5 at the back?

There's a great expression managers apparently use: If you listen to the fans you soon end up sitting with them.

Are you Ashley Corker? Definitely not a Cobblers fan hence referring to 'the staff at Northampton' at the bottom and referring to the club as 'you' earlier on...

If this is your opinion then fine, but don't have a go at people on this forum have a go at all fans. At times I agree the fans could to more to help the team but then we are back to the old age argument of who gets the others going players or fans? My answer to that is players should and the fans follow. If it is the other way around supporting cobblers seems more like a job than a hobby, which has been the case for a me for a good few seasons now!

Crazy isn't it - 0-0 was probably the least likely result of all. Who are the pools panel?

Just checked and apparently the other pools panel consists of Roger Hunt, Gordon Banks and Tony Green. If you think you would do a better job then I guess you could put your name forward. Footballing achievements like winning the World Cup seems to be the type of qualification they are looking for.
