Anybody know roughly how many we'll be allocated for this game? Surely it should be around 5000?!  Roll Eyes

We've only got 3500 fans for today's home game!! We should get as many tickets as we ask for!

I know, it's silly! You can guarantee everyone will want a ticket for this one...
Surely we'd take 5000 odd, possibly more

We will take more fans than our average home gate easily, sickening really but very predictable, but as long as the game rewards the club financially, possibly helping us to keep hold of players than its all good.

As long as the faithful home or away supporters get their tickets then it doesnt matter who else goes.

Yeah, i don't mind them all going, but its still a fairly sad state of affairs that so many people will go and watch them just becuase of who and where they are playing and there will be a fair few who may never have been to sixfields.

Not worried about tickets because as someone else said, we'll probably get as many as we can shift if we ask nicely! Northampton at home on a (possibly) wet Tuesday night in what they see as a mickey mouse trophy isn't exactly the biggest draw for Liverpool fans, so there probably won't be more than 25 or 30,000 home fans in a 45,000 seat ground.

The tricky thing's gonna be finding enough coaches in Northants for everyone! Cheesy

In all seriousness, the coaches could be a problem. With schools being back by then, the vast majority of these coach companies have contracts with the schools/councils to do the school run. I remember the Saints had a similar problem for a Cup final two years ago which was on a Friday night.

Hi,

First post on here but some of you may know me from the 606 boards where I've been posting for years.  I live in Liverpool these days and have several red supporting mates.  They reckon we'll get 5,500ish tickets and that the game will still be close to a sell out.  It's very rare for more than a couple of thousand seats to ever go unsold at Anfield regardless of the opposition.

Thinking about the situation for ticket allocation I'm guessing it'll be season ticket holders first, then people who pay the £10 membership followed by general sale with some sort of previous game scheme?  How many season ticket holders/members do we have as I'm guessing 70% of that would be a realistic figure.

Its parking at liverpool you have to worry about. My mate is a season ticket holder at liverpool and said, while you can go by train ,Liverpool lime street then catch a bus to Anfield or go straight to the ground by coach, its a bit more tricky if you go by car. There is a 2 mile  no go area round the ground.Permit holders only ... if you do park you can get clamped .He did say you can park at Evertons ground for £10 and walk through Stanley park  it might be an idea to get in touch with liverpool to find out where you can  or can park

If i parked near Anfield I wouldn't be worried about a parking ticket I would be more worried about having any wheels left after the game Grin

I thought that if you gave one of the local scallies a quid* they'd "look after" it for you.

*There may have been some inflation since I was last there.
