England were fantastic throughout this tournament. What a result today. Shame none of the players will get a chance to play in the first division as it's full of foreign players, managers and owners. And we wonder why the senior team don't win anything anymore.

Yeah, it looks promising!

Unfortunately the existence of the Premier League will prevent these players from achieving their true potential at senior level.

They will not be able to get first team football at PL level due to the excess of foreign imports and obsession with spending £millions.

Most likely they'll find themselves hanging about in U23 football and farmed out on loan until they're 22, when they'll finally land in the Championship or L1.

Hope I'm wrong.

Around 15 years is were the key decision was made (or not made in this case). Not to introduce a minimum of home grown players in a starting XI when clubs were starting to buy more and more foreign players. There was uproar when Chelsea and Arsenal played an XI with no english players at all. Now I think the majority of clubs do it bar Burnley etc. Its even gone down into the Championship. Where does it end? They will never introduce such a rule now, because its impossible to restructure squads.
