Title: Poll for Goal Keeper Saturday
Post by: everbrite on December 19, 2017, 21:25:00 pm
Criteria:

a) Goff is promising but lacks any kind of Senior Experience
b) Coddington has only had a couple of 1st team games but has done well(apparently at Conf. level with Wrexham). Lacks League experience
c) Cornell - has recent 1st team experience. Performances so far have been inconsistent. Can save penalties. Not popular with most on here, is likely to be JFH choice.

No disrespect intended or implied, but some fans have already voted! However Marquis please remove/close the Poll if you feel if it is detrimental to any reader or board.  You are quite right in pointing out the potential misrepresentation this post might achieve. Thank you.

Very unusual post for you Evers. You quite often lambast anybody who has any type of opinion on a players poor performance. Setting up a poll to see if a player should be replaced in the team, very unsporting and lacking in general support of the squad.

I'm not quite understanding the criticsm being thrown at Everbrite - isn't Ingram injured and touch and go for Saturday? How is raising who people's choice would be on his replacement unsporting or showing a lack of support? This is a forum for discussion isn't it?

.

Partly agree with you but generally I only challenge those who offer abusive comments. So your claim that I criticise unduly is not correct unless you can offer valid example to the contrary. Thks.

Goff for me; saw enough pre-season to suggest he deserves a go.

JFH will stick with Cornell though, his comments about Sat were just made to protect him, he was woeful.

If Cornell is likely to be JFH choice. I just hope Cornell or his mother does not read this board. Veryy insensitive.

He's not been subjected to half the vitriol, for half as long as Gilligan, Rodgers, Constantine etc.

This is disgusting, especially at Christmas.

I will be collecting donations for Cornell this weekend - please PM me if you have any early contributions

Maybe we should club together and get Cornell a new set of boots, because aside from a kamikaze run in the direction of Jim and the dugout in the first minute he was also doing a fair impression of Bambi against Walsall. I hven't seen the like since Ivan was here.
I wasn't overly impressed with Coddington but that was only one game, so who knows.
Goff - who?

put revell in goal, when he turns round and sees the ball nestling in the back of the net it will bring back fond memories !

Whatever happened to Insider, watching these young lads in training...or has Government legislation put an end to such activities?  8)

Pretty sure he announced we'd signed a striker, who then signed for Fleetwood, and then claimed he was having a bit of a joke.
