Phrases for the Rochdale match;

Whose that?

He's a Cobblers veteran of at least 5 months

WOW pace!!!

There are good players on the bench!

How do you pronounce his name?

I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE GAME.

"Wish I'd stayed in and watched Man City."

"2-1, still got a chance."
"Bunney is having a mare, Buchs should be playing."

I managed to retain my vomit (just). I am not quite sure of what some of our fans consume in the way of food but one can only hope that the KFC shutdown will only help alleviate the issue. I may still invest in some of the special cream/smell inhibitor that coroners are known to apply under their nose when inspecting a rotting subject in a morgue and also take along a can of febreze just to make sure. #Sortyourselvesout

Lots of booing of JFH today. I rarely shout anything at players or managers but today even I yelled "idiot" at him. I think he has to expect that. What he shouldn't expect and certainly what I don't expect to hear from our fans is something that I heard shouted from somewhere behind me today: "**** off back to where you came from, Hasselbaink."

I don't think he meant QPR.

As we were leaving, my son asked me if I'd heard what was said behind us. When i said yes, he asked if I'd heard the second thing, which I hadn't. Apparently the same charming individual went on to call our manager a "**** ****" (the second censored word rhymes with moon)

Not acceptable and not representative of who we are as a club. If I knew exactly who it was I'd gladly report them to the club, but unfortunately I wasn't able to narrow it down to one individual.  >:(

Just give them a rough idea where they were sitting, behind the goal would be almost 100% season ticket holders so they will probably be back. Creatures like that can't help themselves and will no doubt come out with more words of the same nature. If the club know roughly they can place an undercover representative nearby for next time.

Imagine how a little kid from an ethnic group affected by this nonsense would feel listening to that? Imagine the impact that could have on them, maybe for the rest of their lives. Let’s not beat around the bush these c*nts need locking up.

More snippets of quality in the East Stand today.

"Ugh, Hoskins." (Anytime Sammy touched the ball).

After their first goal one or two left! Some bloke was going absolutely bananas as the 1st half dawdled on.  At halftime, a few more from the West Stand left the ground. The only thing I was grateful for was that we were only 0-1 down come half time.

The guy in the north stand shouting out all these lines several times throughout the course of the match.

"Shrewsbury you will always be League 2"
"Shrewsbury you are a mickey mouse club"
"Shrewsbury you are a joke"
"Shrewsbury you are 5h!t"

The guys nearby responding

"No, they might be Championship next season, definitely league one for another season"
"If they are mickey mouse what are we?"
"If they are a joke what are we?"
"Can we be 5h!t as well"

I am glad he got it off his chest, obviously on his mind, but I doubt if the front two rows of the north would of even heard him let alone the sensitive ears of the Shrewsbury fans or players.

If you go to a few away games like Oxford and Luton 2 years ago just as two examples you may hear a lot worse. The samples quoted above are pretty tame and a lot less aggressive.

It wasn't good to hear a lot of the 'abuse' on Saturday.

I'm not one to shy away from some shouting but it did wind me up a bit when the game was still in the balance. The game felt too important so I attempted to sing over a lot of the abuse, as the game went on there was too much though and I gave up. I fully understand the full time reaction though.

Grimes and Van Veen seemed to be those facing the most criticism when in all fairness everyone was pretty much on a par.

I thought the stick Grimes got was a bit over the top. I don't rate him much and he doesn't help himself with some of his set piece delivery but he definitely seemed to be a scapegoat saturday.

I personally got more annoyed at the amount of times Taylor hoofed the ball out for a goal kick / corner or throw in.

I have to admit that being outspoken against the inactivity at Sixfields and those who portray themselves as saviours and seek absolute adulation without criticism, and Im not talking about kim yong il and Kim the jounger un... This has unfortunately brought with it a little notoriety, most are ok with my stance to see our club crawl free from the oppression of North Korea sorry I mean Sixfields but others who I suspect are still staunch cardozaites who are probably still loyal to our supreme leader David 2005-16.. that have subsequently aligned their  support to Kelvin, have not shown any love or acceptance to my thoughts.
The club is different things to different folk, and all are welcome to demand the club they want, its just Im sick of us always  being a bit skint, small s hit and league 2.

As Long ran past just before he came on he clearly had a bit of banter with someone down the front of the West stand and was laughing as he did his warm-up.
"Isn't it nice to see the difference in atmosphere now? Even the subs have a smile on their faces now." observed someone behind me.
5 seconds later...
"You can **** laugh, Long, you don't give a ****, you'll be back at Burnley next year!" chimed in the usual old **** I have the misfortune to sit near.

I also saw Long with a big grin on his face having clearly found something funny a couple of seconds after Hoskins missed from a one on one chance.
I'd like to think it was a complete coincidence but I can't be sure.

I saw that. He then went over to KvV and they both had a laugh.

Both players are lucky they are even on the bench.
