Title: Football Prediction Quiz 2019/20 (Updated 28th January)
Post by: barton cobbler on May 03, 2018, 21:12:40 pm
The Trust are inviting Cobblers fans to have a little fun during the forthcoming season - by entering a Football prediction quiz.
Entry forms can be purchased at just £2 - the winner will scoop half of the total pot, the other half will go to Trust funds.
Trust vice chairman Roger Averill will have entry forms with him at the Sileby game, the NTFC Open Day (20th July) and in Carr's Bar before the games with Walsall, Macclesfield & Plymouth .
Alternatively, you can email Roger at rogeraverill1952@gmail.com for further information on how to enter.
The closing date for entries is 31st August. So come in and join in a little gentle competition during the season. And good luck!

With over 150 entries, the first prize is £100, second prize £35 and a third prize of £20. In the event of a tie the prize money will be added together and divided by the number of people, ie 2 people tie for 1st place, £100 + £35 = £135 which is divided by 2, meaning each person gets £67.50p
I'll do an update in a few weeks.

The first leader is Graham Raspin with 77 points followed by Fred Blenco with 75, James Loe with 74, Daniel Ellis 72 and Tom Moran & Chris Dews on 71 points. It's a marathon not a sprint though.

We have a new leader, Bob Gregory with 81 points, followed by Cheryl Byrne with 79, James Loe 75, Graham Raspin 74, Tom Moran & Louie Taylor with 72 and Lydia Meek & Fred Blenco with 70.
Still a lot to play for.

I have no issue at all with Salfordís rise . They have done it in the right manner for the right reasons . Whatís the problem - they are not MK Dons ?
We all have backers that keep the club afloat - where exactly do you think we would be without that ?
As for the Nevilles not backing Bury - neither would I with that amount of debt . Itís better to start afresh .

Graham Raspin hits the front with 83 points closely followed by Tom Moran with 81. Then comes James Loe (77), Cheryl Byrne & Roger Averill (74) :), Stuart Taylor & Fred Blenco (72), Aaron Loe (71) and Tony Goacher with 70. Still a long way to go.
