Jake Robinson....remember him? Could hardly hit a barn door for us....4 goals in 57 appearances. Dropped down the leagues and is now playing for Billericay Town, and scored 57 goals for them last season......he already has 8 this season too.

He was part of the bad side. He went to the best side in the conference and couldn't score. Dropped down further to the conference south and averaged 1 in 3. Scoring for fun against The Red Lions Sunday side now though.

He came across sometimes as lazy and it seemed like he was playing within himself. His set piece delivery left something to be desired!!

Perhaps with some decent coaching he's gained a new lease of life and is now performing well.

Fair play to him for that.

If you're good you don't suddenly become crap overnight......unless you join the Cobblers!
If you're crap you don't suddenly become good overnight......unless you leave the Cobblers!!!

I think it's a different Rose at Mansfield and did Clarke sign for us? I seem to remember we were interested but I didn't think we signed him.

Too many Danny Rose's....a whole bunch of them in fact! You are indeed correct.....Danny Rose at Mansfield is not the one we had who is now at Portsmouth, and is not the one we didn't have who currently plays for Tottenham!

Peter Clarke....is a different person to Peter Clark...who did play for us in 2004......!! What happened to him?? Did he get injured? He retired from football at the end of that season, aged just 25

That will be the one......!

8 goals in 21 appearances for us, then on  to Crawley where he scored 22 in 51 in 2017, last season with Luton he scored 20 in 45, and this season has hit 7 in 19.

Overall career record...and hes still only 27 years of age......331 starts, plus 70 sub appearances, 136 goals.

Yeah, that one!

Former Cobbler Gary Johnson has led Torquay United back to the Conference National League after winning the Southern title yesterday.

He took over after Torquay had only won 3 of their first 10 games this season, and has since led them to 23 wins in 33 games.

They have been taking 1000 plus followings to some away games and were watched by a crowd of 4,538 yesterday which was some 500 more than Exeter managed for their home game against Port Vale in League 2.

Meanwhile Justin Edinburghs Leyton Orient side keep bagging late goals and have a two point lead at the top of the National League with just three games to go. Things could change though as they have a big game at Solihull Moors on Easter Monday, Solihull sit just three points behind in third, with in form Salford City in between them.

Gary Johnson leads Torrquay back to the National League after winning the South Division.

Chris Wilder takes Sheffield United back to the Premier League.

Richard O'Donnell - relegated with Bradford (release clause?)
Kevin van Veen - relegated with Sc***horpe (I'm not a league 2 player)
Joe Bunney - helps Rochdale survive (will he sign for them?)

I don't know what Wilder did to Enda Stevens at the end of the season......extra Weetabix?

After going more than a year without a goal he got 4 in his last six games.

James Collins was our joint highest scoring former player with 25 goals as Luton won the League 1 title, 45 goals in 93 games for the Hatters in his career.
John Marquis equalled that tally with the quarter century for Doncaster, 150 games since leaving us, 66 goals.
