Title: Moving to county

Hi all
I was born n the teytn but moved away in childhood. I am now looking to come back but am on a budget (up to 140k) - looking at Kettering/Corby/W'boro - would anyone be happy to advise on good and nt so good points about the areas?

Out of the tree I would go for Wellingborough but avoiding the Queensway estate. Never lived in any of them though. I do know someone who lives in Irchester and they like it there. No problems.

In terms of value for money there are some decent properties over on the Hemmingwell Estate in Wellingborough.

You'll hear bad stories about almost every town in the UK, no matter how "nice" people say they are there are always a few bad eggs on one street or another.

Kettering ain't bad but in terms of shopping it's mostly charity shops and food and drink outlets so I travel to Corby to do my shopping.
