Title: Welcome - Alan McCormack
Post by: guest3063 on June 05, 2019, 14:12:11 pm
Number 7 has arrived.

The experienced 35 year old has signed a one year contract after being released by Luton.

Welcome Alan and good luck.

Just seen a Luton fan post this ' what a player you have just singed, as a Luton fan I am gutted we let him leave. I still feel he could do a job at championship level'.

That is the sort of report I like to hear when we take on a player, especially one who has been playing in the league above!

Really like the fact Curle has gone from proven winners in the likes of Lines, Martin, Adams and McCormack. I fancy our chances of going up next year, im saying it now!

Good to see us sign some experienced battle hardened League 2 players.

The squad last year was far too lightweight and too meek to cause any problems in this league.

Squad is shaping up nicely. A right sided centre back and a new GK then we will be good to go

In addition would prefer a winger type player  :) and Hallam Hope type fwd. Plus Devitt of course.

Very good signing this impressive.

I agree, a great addition whether as a regular first XI pick or as experience and quality off the bench.

You have a top top player there. I really wanted him to stay at Luton in the Championship. A real leader, we never lost when he played. Great tackler, brilliantly visionary passers. If he keeps fit you will do very well - don't use him to heavily

Sounds and looks, from the clips, a bit like an upgraded version of Ricky Ravenhilli?
