Charlie Goode team captain for next season. At 23 that must make him one of our youngest ever captains.

Nicky Adams confirmed as club captain.

Fair play to him given that we have Lines and McCormack to name just 2 vastly experienced players in the squad - also I don’t know what this means in terms of possible further defensive reinforcements, I suspect that we won’t be getting an experienced/leader type. I hope he and McCormack are fit and available to play some part tonight.

Nicky Adams is actually the CLUB captain. Charlie Goode is the TEAM captain. No vice captain named, but needless to say Adams will be team captain if Goode is unavailable for a particular match.

Not sure if I should have used this thread but CG has had a nightmare since joining us.
He’s had an illness or virus which has basically kept him out since day one, false dawns and he’s played whilst ill
in some games, don’t think he’d get many mins now but we do have injuries at CB, we’ll never get to see what he offers which is a shame.
One thing though, he has seemed well up for it when on the bench or in the stand, easy to spot that his attitude is good.

Just shows the risks that are associated with big money moves (although appreciate not big money for Brentford).
If he's sick / injured though we'll have him back on loan  ;)

Best character at the cobblers for ages. I loved the wink he gave to the West Stand as he lay "injured" after a hard tackle. Also when he patted the head in a Benny Hill style of a rather small opposition player.

Rather dishonorably I liked his theatrical fall overs in the corner flag area when defending his goal line or even the touch line.
