Title: Why no decision dates?
Post by: guest3264 on November 29, 2019, 06:02:05 am
Surely it is time progress is made on subjects relevant to NTFC.

1) After more than 3 years of investigations Northamptonshire Police will not indicate when we will hear of a decision concerning any prosecutions relevant to the Cardoza era!

2) We have heard in the last 4 statements from Mr Thomas that he is making 'good progress' with discussions with NBC. How many 'good progress's' before we see a tangible end product?

3) We have waited years for NBC to complete the 300 metres of Edgar Mobbs Way to connect to the Towcester Road and improve access to the Sixfields and Franklin Gardens area. Total silence and lack of progress!

WHY?

Not sure that points 1 & 3 can be classed as "relevant" directly to the Cobblers any more? Of interest, yes.

In all points, I suspect risk versus reward is the driver.

Whilst not a legal boff, I am led to believe this length of time is not particularly unusual in this type of investigation? Notoriously difficult to prove the nature of intent at the time of the offence apparently? Whatever that means in the scheme of things?

If only RBS/Fred The Shred had taken their time over their Due Diligence when purchasing ABN !

Moral = take the time you need to arrive at the right decision.

I am pretty sure that I read, a few years back, that the railway line that is in the way, is still classed as active. Even though it clearly isnt. This could be causing the problem. I could of cause be wrong though.

It was decommissioned a couple of years ago. Although I see today in the Chron a good idea to use another section of the track, from the town centre to Brackmills as a Park and Ride route.

Oh sorry, 'a good idea' the Council will never complete it!

So its one or the other then. In all probability, neither.

3) you mean St. James Mill Rd I presume?
They built Cosworth on it. That might slow things down a bit

Wrong, there is a section of railway land which will give access to the KFC/B&Q roundabout!
