The Hotel End

This excuse for a website gets worse and worse. I constantly click on articles and it comes up 'with page not found' from some other newspaper in the group. For instance I have just clicked on 'driver arrested over crash on the M1' which happened yesterday and all I get 's 'page not found Mid Sussex Times' and this is happening all the time whether I use the PC or my tablet. Surely I can't be the only one this happens to.

Another annoying feature is when I go to click on a story and in the time it takes for my finger to hit the article another bloody advert has popped up and it hits a different story. It really is the worst website I have ever used. Maybe I will use the BBC local news in future.

It's the journalistic equivalent of the East Stand.

Certainly not the only one Grumpy......the website is a shambles, with pop ups, videos, redirects galore, and old news! The "Trending" section is full over stories from a month ago. Like you say those redirects to other newspaper sites is annoying, especially seeing as the articles are "local"...why do we get redirected to sites all over the country?

I took off my adblocker for the Chronic site, but of course can't see anything on other group sites and they all want the ad blocker turned off too!

You're probably right....BBC local Northampton news is the alternative.

It's not unique to the Chronic, it's the same for all of local online newspapers who use the same providers.

As if by magic, the whole format of the website has changed and its much more user friendly now.

No adverts and a much cleaner looking website...

Dunno about that DC, still getting the opportunity to cop off with partially dressed over 40s. Well we are over here anyway.

I miss the mature young ladies only 1 mile from me that used to be advertised on here, was it a coincidence that they disappeared when Bingers stopped posting?  8)
