Title: Off to league one now UTG
Post by: Seventh heaven on May 12, 2022, 07:12:29 am
It’s been a long season and football always wins,Northampton play percentage football that’s why you have missed out automatically,we done the double over you and over the season deserved finishing above you without doubt.

Good luck in the playoffs but I think one of the Town’s will crown it UTG

First thing you think of when you wake up is us. That's so sweet. Now off to school.
Good luck in League 1.

Not totally sure why you've come on here kid. Most people don't have an issue with Rovers over Saturday. Yeah, we think your manager is a dick, but that's the thoughts of most people in the country to be fair.
Scunny, now they're a different story but they have to live in Skunthorpe so I suppose karma was served upon them years ago.

Which one; Burslem, Mansfield, Swindon or err Northampton?

I would think so. Rather disgracefully following the Sc***horpe game some people have commented that Joey Barton has moved on from giving his wife a kicking to doing it to kids? Still that’s Burnleys problem now apparently.

I hadn't seen that. To go from the honesty, integrity and plain talking of Sean Dyche to Joey Barton. That's a bit of a seismic shift, isn't it?

I feel really sorry for them, all the euphoria of the weekend only to discover they were a stepping stone for their manager. As we all know losing your manager following promotion is a death sentence. It’s a shame, will they ever get out of Bristol City’s shadow?

Keith Hill to take over at Brizzle?

Sorry - couldn't resist

Barton to Burnley would be hilarious. Not for Burnley fans obviously, although.....*
I'm sure he'll take any opportunity of a lucky promotion with a minnow to land a decent job.

I despair at some of the people making decisions at these clubs. Absolute car crash in the making. You'd think anyone would wait until his 'accidental' assault case drew to a conclusion. Certainly wouldn't want a character like that at the head of my club.

*insert regional wife beating joke.

I can't stand Joey Barton, mainly due to his antics off the pitch rather than those on it; he's a decent player, just not a decent person.

Gervinho deserved to get sent off yesterday for that slap, but I don't think Barton conducted himself in the most dignified manner to see that he was.

If Brady and co don't work out then I wouldn't want Campbell (arrogant and delusional) or Barton (a nasty piece of work and an outright scumbag).

Joey Barton is a degenerate thug whose very presence demeans our game. I'd be ashamed to have him associated with my club and the Bristol fans who were singing his name the day after there had been court proceedings involving him assaulting his wife should have a long, hard look at themselves. No sour grapes there as our overall performance didn't warrant a win, I've always despised the man, and I use the word "man" in the loosest possible sense.

I thought I'd put all that there to show that I've always been consistent in my opinion of Joey Barton and this isn't sour grapes speaking - I genuinely don't understand why any club would touch the little rodent. Yes, he's done well with Bristol this year but it's the baggage he brings and the circus that he'll inevitably kick off at some point. That's doubly true at the moment while there's an unresolved court case about domestic violence hanging over his head. If I was a Burnley fan I'd be making my views abundantly clear before any appointment is made.
