I am hoping for Hartlepool on a Tuesday evening in mid winter. Then I can pretend to be a die hard, hard core supporter by being there.

Some amazing predictions that I saw on Facebook came true..... Grimsby away first trip of the season, Mansfield away on Boxing Day......!!

Not too happy about AFC Wimbledon being on a Tuesday night, and Good Friday will see us make the long haul to Newport. Tranmere away last game of the season could be a biggie....... at least we'll get a decent amount of tickets.

Colchester United at home in five weeks time to kick things off.

Not too difficult a start to the season. Mansfield & Swindon at Xmas.  No home games in November unless drawn at home in cup.
Pappa Johns draw at 11.30.
Carabao cup draw at 2.30. Both live on Sky Sport News.

Already booked my hotel in Cleethorpes for the first away game.

Not a bad set of early fixtures to visit.

We must have had a home fixture to start the season quite a lot in recent years? I'm always on bloody holiday and will be in Lanzarote this year  >:(
And then by default, finishing away from home.
It's a barren November and a crazy April with 7 games, which is often a time for any re-arranged fixtures too, although only 4 March fixtures.

Stupid starting the season so early and for no reason at all as far as I can make out. It's not like we have a 6 week world cup break

Zut alors, I was looking forward to Grimsby away, but I will still be in France.

Looks like I can combine taking the Bingers Boys back to uni with a trip to Salford, assuming of course that Younger Boy Bingers has worked hard enough to go to Manchester, which I don't think he has. Oh well, Manchester Met through clearing it is.

Also just planned to go away for the weekend when we are due to be at Bratfut. Might have to rearrange that one.

Fair play Bingers, getting the EFL to rearrange the Bradford game around your social life.

Well its the least they can do. How could I possibly give my views on the match if I was off somewhere else in the country celebrating my mates 50th.

The reason thats being given is that the EFL have scrapped two rounds of midweek fixtures which normally take place in the period when the World Cup is on this year. Traditionally midweek games attract lower gates and they didn't want to see gates further depressed by the 1900 (GMT) game in the WC.

Probably just as well they did really......Wales v England is a 1900 kickoff on Tuesday 29th November for example.

So  to compensate for the loss of matchdays we have an earlier start to the season and an additional midweek round in the new year.

they could have moved that round of fixtures to wednesday 30th november

The point was they didn't want clashes with ANY World Cup Fixtures..... that's why there are no league midweek fixtures in November and December, whereas normally there are two "matchdays"

Every night from 21st November until 6th December inclusive there is a 1900 game.

I’ve got a very bad feeling about the World Cup.

I still think that more people would be on holiday at the end of July, missing games, than absolutely have to watch Senegal vs Equador

I would put money on us not losing 3 games in a week like our cricketers have just done. In a few days they have gone from being top of their group to out of the top 4 qualifying places for a quarter final place in the T20 Blast.

I can't watch international football or the premier league. I'm sick and tired of a bunch of big girl's blouses falling on the floor like they are dying when someone ruffles their hair.

There is. Being gay is illegal...leading to many of their dumb (but earning loads of money in France) ignorant footballers, who clearly are a fair barometer of the Senegalese population in general, making homophobic comments on social media, and being supported by colleagues and their fans alike!
Actually wonder if there is much right with Senegal!

Crikey, if footballers are a fair barometer of the population in general we are all in trouble! Don't forget if it wasn't for the British, Dutch and Portuguese raping the country they may be a bit better off by now.

Ok statue destroyer.  Senegal would be better off now had it been spared by the Imperial British - hardly a fact let alone an opinion.

I take it you are bound for Senegal soon. Good luck!

I would love to visit Senegal. I did spend a year in Ghana and loved every minute of it. As for statues, couldn't care less. And I never said Senegal would be better off. You, everbrite, are a complete c*n* and I would suggest you put your energy into something more positive than slagging off the posts of the majority of folk on here. Fu*k off back to the 18th century where you belong.

There was no racist remarks by me unless you call those who dwell in the Fens as one! What I didn't do is use foul and abusive language. If you apologise I will respond in an almost 'gentlemany' manner. Goodnight and sleep well :-\

On the Division 2 forum posters from various clubs have been posting their predictions for the end of season table. So far 21 opinions have been posted and 9 place us in an automatic promotion place, 8 in a play off place and 3 think we will finish outside of the top 7.

Just purchased two Colchester United (h) tickets - finally on sale!
So the new ticketing platform appears to have no data-base - wasn't asked as always previously, for details. No membership (last season equally poor, with no details offered when asking - but then online info stating membership discount and priority, as previous seasons) this season.

Home adult tickets priced £22 - so if correct, last season's advanced purchase price (without membership)?
