Title: "What the hell is that?"
Post by: Biscuit Barrel on October 13, 2010, 17:10:03 pm
"What the hell is that?" someone shouted to me this morning as the whole world and his mother piled out into the streets and looked skyward.
Not being an aeroplane buff, I think everyone soon came to the same conclusion that it was the only Vulcan Bomber in the UK.....and it was flying at very low speed and very low over Northampton.
It seemed to do half a dozen laps of the town, sometimes flanked by the Sywell based aerobatic display team.
Everyone stopped their cars and even some roads came to a standstill.
Amazing sight!

It did this a year or two ago as well, flew right over the top of me. The underside seemed to have camoflague paint on it which seemed strange if you're looking up at it.
