Title: No chance of him resigning
Post by: 1HorshamCobbler on December 21, 2013, 15:55:12 pm
He's still got that stubborn streak, both Platt and him can pi-- off, but it's going to be down to DC to wield the axe, he won't do the decent thing and walk.
Probably means his career as a Manager is over now

To be fair I wouldn't resign I'd want my years wages I'm owed if sacked.

Also with hindsight to be fair to AB he must be a fair manager as he has been the only one to bring any semblence of success to the club who have been in terminal decline for the last decade.

No doubt if he goes he will go on to further success elsewhere just like Gary Johnson has.

I honestly don't think it matters who manages the team.

The problems run far deeper than that.

Whilst the club has issues Boothroyd was fortunate last season, we were very fortunate as I said last season, lots of games where we secured the win without deserving it , it couldn't continue and sure enough it hasn't.

Just think Aidy has blinkered attitude towards players and has his favourites despite stating to the contrary this week.

Typical manager in his last days. His decisions are desperate throws of the dice, by a desperate man. Time to go Mr Boothroyd, probably do great at another club like Johnson, but no time to worry about that. Merry Xmas Ady now do one!

Hang on. I've just been reading about promotion form in the Chron.

The happy clappers probably still think we will make the playoffs.

Boothroyd did a lot right when he joined the club and last season in getting us to Wembley when at the start of the season many fans would've taken top half. He then proceeded to undo all of that in the summer, disassembling a somewhat successful side and making the exact same mistake as his predecessor by totally rebuilding the squad when it really wasn't necessary. Unsurprisingly, we've reached the same conclusion as when the fat clown did the same thing.

Technically the title of the thread is 100% correct though, absolutely no chance of him resigning from a job he no longer has.
