Sad sad news...Had the pleasure of working with Les for a number of years before his retirement and had many a memorable away trip with him and the mounties ( The weekenders in Carlisle especially spring to mind). RIP my friend

Anyone thinking we'll be paying more than a "nominal" undisclosed fee for anyone in this window is living in cloud cuckoo land. You only have to look at the pre season signings...Once Revs, Zak, Taylor and Beautyman had signed we were reduced to looking at released kids or loans. My guess is the majority of our wage budget was used up there. With the fair play rule in place and our crowds being what they are getting knockout the FA cup won't have helped with funds for this window either

My comment after the Sc unthorpe game. And it still stands. IMO. He contributes very little in the middle of the park. He only steps forward when there is a free kick to be taken.
That's all well and good but we have little/no creativity elsewhere on the pitch I don't see how we can drop him...However playing him at the back of a diamond formation is just asking for trouble.

Anyone who judges Toney on those couple of appearances clearly cant remember Christian Lee. He's obviously a very good propect but still has a long way to go. Before those games I recall people on here saying "too lightweight" etc. Just give the lad time and I'm sure he'll come good just dont expect too much too soon.

Well although Im going with a load of mates, I will be Billy no mates as far as seatings concerned..if they do enforce the seats/tickets thing.
That said, I will respect it if they do. After all, its gonna be a sell out. And that means no empty seats. So if a Dad with his 3 kids turns up at 10 to 3 and takes his seats but they are taken already, and theres no '4 seats together' then what? Just play it by ear, thats all Im saying!
9 of us going including both of my elderly parents and 2 kids...bought tickets on the premise that we will be all sitting together....anyone sitting in our seats when we get there will be politely asked to shift their asses...

Had been a ST holder from when sixfields opened up until the start of last season..have not seen anything since that would make me want to renew it. With the style/performances being what they are I must admit my attendance at sixfields is getting less and less.

Didn't buy one this season and wont be next either. Like previous posters if we go down i'll be looking forward to the away games more than the home ones. As fo the redevelopment and conference facilities...has anyone actually asked big Dave whether he means " conference facilities" or "facilities suited to the conference"

I'm surprised people are questioning the hoofball...face facts...the players we have are incapable of playing anything else. Any attempt to string more than 2 passes together results in the ball being given away. At least with hoofball it's given away in or around the opponents penalty area and not ours.

As for the ref for the game, yes indeed Mr Wright is from Peterborough, and he's actually a personal friend of mine...
After that performance I hope this is no longer the case
