Looking at the table now it seems the top three will be the three who are promoted a the end of the season. Bury look to be secure in the play-offs, but then 10 points seperate the next 8 teams, everyone will fancy their chances. Wimbledon will be out of it should they fail to beat us on Friday, so here are the Easter fixtures involving the play-off contenders.....
GOOD FRIDAY AFC WIMBLEDON v NORTHAMPTON TOWN LUTON TOWN v EXETER CITY NEWPORT COUNTY AFC v Hartlepool United PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v Burton Albion SOUTHEND UNITED v Mansfield Town STEVENAGE v Tranmere Rovers
EASTER MONDAY Cheltenham Town v STEVENAGE Dagenham & Redbridge v AFC WIMBLEDON EXETER CITY v NEWPORT COUNTY AFC Hartlepool United v SOUTHEND UNITED NORTHAMPTON TOWN v Cambridge United Portsmouth v PLYMOUTH ARGYLE Tranmere Rovers v LUTON TOWN

There were ridiculous numbers of luton in the west stand. When Holmes scored I reckon 20 people sitting within view of my seat stayed sitting. What happened with the ticket sales to stop them getting in?
There were originally online sales for this game but I think they pulled them later on when they noticed some Bedfordshire postcodes popping up! Then they said that they would attempt to withdraw already sold tickets if they could prove that non-hoe fans had bought them....don't know that that was successful though!

Seasons high then yesterday.....although there were still empty seats in the lower tier wings of the West and at the ends of the North. Somehow there were more Luton fans than they had tickets, but looking at the crowd yesterday I reckon a current capacity of around 5850-5900 is about right.

Exeter are a whole one point behind us.....perhaps one week we have numpties "celebrating" the fact that they have gone above us, the next week other numpties "celebrate" the fact we have overtaken them again!
Frankly my dear...I don't give a damn!

Just want to point out that £7.5m is available for stadium development. £5m is ring fenced for the hotel.
(At least those are the broad numbers).
I'd like to know what the breakdown of spend £7.5m is, with £6m going to do the East stand I wonder what the balance is for? New seats?
Don't think thats quite correct! The CLUB is not building the hotel neither is it building the houses. The CLUB however is building the conference Centre. The land controlled by COUNTY GROUP will be sold off to developers and rent will be charged. Northampton Town FC will not be in the business of owning either houses or hotels! Last "workings out" as to where the money is actually going were that the stand is now costing £6m (but god knows how), £1.5 was being kept back for the relocation of the Athletics Club, £1.5m has been spent on the new PA, Scoreboard, dressing rooms, new seats and floodlights along with other improvements to the West with the remainder earmarked for the conference centre. The loan agreement specifically states that the monies loaned CAN NOT be used for either preparotry work or building work concerned with a new hotel on the mortgaged (Sixfields) property.

It probably will actually be your old seat! Lol.......you're probably not wrong! Having looked at the additional two rows of concrete which have been attached to the ends of the existing base of the East Stand, thats your extra seating capacity right there! From my crude calculations I estimated this to be around 100 extra seats for the regular fans at each end. Don't forget that the executive boxes (10, 12 or however many) and their 10 seats per box will also be part of this "capacity", although this will be negated by the loss of what was the capacity on the disabled deck of the former stand.

Whilst an inconvenience as DC has ALWAYS said it will happen!
In previous posts I questioned if certain posters had extra agenda's and I won't hold my breath for them to say 'they were wrong' concerning the delays. We are close to the best off-field facilities the club has EVER had so lets continue to back the only Chaiman that is providing them!
In DC we trust.......... and CW.
Still a few questions to get confirmation of the facts at the AGM of NTFC on Monday.
Sorry, had to come back to this! Yes, DC has often said it will happen, trouble is it hasn't! Extra agendas? Maybe! But nobody is going to say "they were wrong" over the delays because the FACT is that the stand will have been delayed for a year even if it meets this latest promise/aspiration! Got to admire your staunch defence of DC, but please spare me the "in DC we trust" nonsense, because the fact is I don't!! Lots of questions to be answered true, I guess that we will never get to the bottom of the delays and the mystery of the "legal case", but I think we are all united in hoping for the best facilites the club has ever had....all £12m worth of them!

Did you hear it? I missed the middle part of the interview due to poor internet connection on my phone!
Points I picked up on.....
First of all "The delay has been a massive waste of management time and a massive waste of money" Buckingham Group BACK IN ON MONDAY "issues with the previous contractor"....its done now, all sorted. "Practical Completion of the stand by Mid-SEPTEMBER" He "can't tell us yet exactly what parts of the stand won't be finished by the start of 2015/16" but that there "will be seats in by the start of the season" When questioned by RN how much of the 12m has been lost as a result of this he came back abruptly and said "NONE OF IT" Still shady on the details for the stand, when asked in a text to the show how many extra seats would there be in the new stand he replied "3 possibly 400 more seats" but they were "looking at ways to get even more in" Expansion of both the North and South stands would be in "the next phase of the development"

First step the work being re started. Now can we actually be told EXACTLY what we will be getting.
Indeed i'd hope so......maybe its all changed again, after all DC did say that it would take "12 weeks" once the contractors were on site.....now he says "the early weeks of next season". Monday 30th March- Mid August 2015 = around 20 weeks

It would be very easy to give an assurance that the money - or most of it - is still in a bank of their choosing. Mind you, if it was, what would the need then be for legal action against 1st Land?
Not just any old legal action....prolonged and very expensive legal action at that! I can't remember when it was DC said that he had to stand up for the club and not be rolled over.

Similarly then, what reason do the club have for drawing down 80% of the available council loan based on the work carried out to date? In fact it seems the only money they haven't been able to draw down is the remaining 1.75m earmarked for the relocation of the Athletics Club.
