I too have had an email giving me a ticket, as I've planned surgery a few days later I'm isolating and unable to go. I have just emailed the club explaining this, hope the seat gets used

At half time should have brought on Racic for Smith and gone 4-4-2 would have given Mills and Adams more licence to get forward and round the outside, and a good argument for replacing Adams with Marshall for the last 30 minutes

Balding in with a shout but for me it's Arnold
7  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Andy Todd - New Assistant Manager on: June 30, 2018, 16:49:08 pm
What is the point of an assistant manager, judging by the changes after DA took over he had no say in tactics, team selection or anything else apparently and not the first by far over a number of years to say that his views were ignored by the manager

According to Sky sports news JFH is set to be appointed, it also says Chris Powell was interviewed

I wonder if our Chinese friends will join the queue with the council to get their money back if we drop into league 2, if that should be the case any amount would be worth spending although it's always a risk as there's no guarantee his replacement would be any better.

I cant remember a time when the majority of fans agreed so quickly. I know some have questioned his appointment since day 1 and some have wanted him to go before the season etc but usually with a manger the number of disgruntled fans increases over time. With JED it seems to have jumped from a few to most in a very short period of time.

From reading on here and talking to others, it seems very few (I've found none) are waiting for / expecting / hoping for him to turn it around, it seems people are just waiting for the next game so we can get it done. Feels a very strange situation to be in

Problem with that is its 10 days before the next game then we play Sat/Tue/Sat/Tue/Sat by which time we could be up **** creek without a paddle (or a point) the current time is perfect to be shot of him
11  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Justin Edinburgh on: August 30, 2017, 07:52:44 am
He shouldn't even be allowed to play FIFA 18 on the Xbox, he simply doesn't have a clue, can't even beat Cambridge reserves with a full strength team.
12  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Cambridge (H) - B Team / Chuckletrade Trophy on: August 29, 2017, 20:01:03 pm
Playing well but still 1-1 with about an hour gone against Cambridge reserves, I doubt any league 1 team will send their reserve team out against us
13  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Who next???? on: August 21, 2017, 14:25:00 pm
I know many will disagree but he did little wrong before, being sacked after a run of draws because Cardoza wanted Johnson in the job, has a passion for the club, the game and would be a fans favourite if appointed, what about Sammo, was very passionate and outspoken on the radio for the QPR game
14  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: NEWS: Cobblers sign Swansea City midfielder Matt Grimes on season-long loan on: August 18, 2017, 15:37:40 pm
A squad packed with midfielders but on last Saturday's showing they didn't need any, just hoofing the ball from defence hoping Revell would get on the end of it.
15  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: The 'Clare Balding' POTS: Fleetwood (h) , 12/08/2017 on: August 14, 2017, 15:09:36 pm
Pierre for me but desperately missing JJOT bossing the midfield
16  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Relegation Watch on: March 02, 2017, 16:13:18 pm
I'd been away for over a month before the Oldham game so a lot of the players were new to me, in honesty Smith, Boateng, Wylde the new right back and to a lesser degree Anderson all looked like average league 2 players none did a thing to inspire me and I worry that the future is looking grim, I am an optimistic person usually but it looks a tough time.

Has to be Moloney showed what we've been missing this season so far

JJOT, always seemed to have time on the ball
19  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Amendments to the Laws for the 2016/17 Season on: August 07, 2016, 10:59:52 am
I think one rule that's rarely employed correctly is when a ball goes out of play, how many times do we see the ball marginally cross the centre of the line a be flagged for a throw, goal kick etc. Don't know if that was why Revell got a yellow yesterday when he kicked the ball away, the rule is THE WHOLE OF THE BALL MUST CROSS THE WHOLE OF THE LINE, much like it is in tennis when we see the challenges replayed.
20  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Fleetwood (H) - First Game of Season on: August 07, 2016, 10:37:58 am
Think we need the wide players to stay wide, Gorre and Beautyman both wanted to cut inside too often, Potter when he came on at first stayed wide and nearly created a goal. Not everybody can be a centre forward.
