At Home Park today in the old wooden stand. Counted 65 from Hartlepool! Argyle won 2-0 but they struggled, wasn't overly impressed with them. People talk about the morgue at Sixfields but it was very similar here even though they were in front for the majority of the game. Atd just over 6k spread over a stadium too large for purpose.....

Carl Boyeson for this, his last Cobblers game was the 2-1 home win against Sarfend in February. Three of those who played that day played on Tuesday. Diamond, Robertson and Hackett.

Best thing for all parties is to release Alex from his contract and let him sign for Exeter, won't be a popular view but it would do him the world of good having a season of regular football. Can't see us risking leaving out Richards, Toney, D'Ath, Hackett or Mohammed to give Nicholls a start.
Or leave him on loan at Exeter until/if we need him? I am sure that their fans would not be adverse to that based on last nights performance? They need all the help they can get... Would be an asset next season in the Third...

Even so and after a fairly decent start to the season it was a disappointing attendance but I don't suppose the result at Newport helped Or the fact that it was Champions League MD1?

Given the renewed optimism following last night , Why not ? With the redevelopment looking good and the quality football on display there's a buzz about Sixfields which hasn't been there for ages.
Which followed the gloom after the Newport result/performance? The gloom and buzz around Sixfields is like the British weather...

I remarked at the start of the night that we had a really strong bench last night.
Roberts, Moyo, Hornby, Langmead, Horwood, Sinclair, Morris, Nicholls and Duke weren't even involved for various reasons!
That's the nucleus of a reasonable L2 team there.
With the length of the recent contract awards, will it be a reasonable League 1 team/squad if we are successful? Or am I being previous?

On holiday on the beach, there was a man in the sea shouting "HELP, SHARK, HELP!!!" I laughed, I knew the shark wasn't going to help him....
