This is nearly as big a mystery as Pete Townshend's book.

Sure I saw some big old diggers moving around the site , as I cycled home the other night.

I'd imagine there maybe a lack of security/ police, especially for the London teams. Therefore it maybe easier just to cancel the whole lot.
7  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Ticket And Tannoy Issues on: July 31, 2022, 21:33:44 pm
As previously stated, I was sat in a season ticket holders seat on Saturday and the same seat is available to purchase for the next home game. 🤷‍♂️

Yep, I was sat in someone's seat, bit of a farce. Also the qr codes are far too small on phones, probably what caused the massive queues.
9  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Season Tickets on: July 16, 2022, 05:42:51 am
The QR codes are very small on them. I printed mine at home (well work) and it scanned ok but my home printer can be crap so that wouldn't surprise me. Presume the mobile device tickets will scan ok? What happens if you buy say 4 tickets sent to your mobile device and some of your party are to arrive seperately?
Just screenshot them and send them to the rest of your party
.

Triallist looks like it was Jerrell Sellars. Step dad used to play for Cobbs, Terry Fleming
I remember being absolutely gutted as a youngster, when him and Barry Richardson left for Preston.

Anyone know, if next year's third/away shirt will be exactly the same as the one used on Saturday? Or will it have a proper badge, and not have the names printed all over it?
As the names put me off purchasing it.
12  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: 125th Anniversary - Tranmere 5th March on: February 07, 2022, 14:28:11 pm
I'd prefer one without the names printed on.

14  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Salford at home 29.01.22 on: January 29, 2022, 17:38:55 pm
I think matt Smith is the worst centre forward I've ever seen. Bloke could barely move and won about 2 headers all afternoon.

A targetman from Saturdays opponents perhaps?

Luke Norris of stevenage seems to be in decent scoring form of late, shouldn't think he'd cost too much..

Someone's been sucked in by all the non-scientific bulls*** doing the rounds in the media....
19  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Window on: September 09, 2020, 11:35:02 am

I remember Ian clarkson quitting league football due to injury , he got an insurance payment , and went to Kidderminster and when they got promoted to the league he repaid the payment so he could play again in the league
Didn't repay all the people who paid for a ticket for his testimonial /retirement match though, tight git..
