We will always be grateful for Kelvin getting involved in 2015. But that was 2 and a half years a go.
We are now relegated because he didn't act sooner and give Jimmy the boot. This is his fault and the blame does lie with him. You only need to look at the last 3 performances as a whole to see that we would have got enough points under any semi competent person if they had been given sufficient time. 5 games was not sufficient time and as a result the most avoidable relegation in our history has been confirmed.
I have to reluctantly agree with this - if he'd got shot of Hasselbaink much earlier we almost certainly would not be relegated - HOWEVER Kelvin has been strangely silent recently (as far as I know) and there may be reasons in the situation about which we know nothing, so until he speaks about it I reserve judgement. Another 4 games with Dean Austin in charge and we'd still be in League One.

There is absolutely no reason we cant crowd fund the expansion of the south stand.
crowd funding is successful for projects where people perceive a great social need or alternatively see a prize opportunity of jumping onto something that will do well commercially and thus give them back more than their original stake. Trying to fund an expansion to South stand would fulfil neither of these criteria at this moment.

Austin got a win so well done BUT the rest of the games will be harder and we won't get thro' with one pathetic lone striker - and today Van Veen was useless in that position, mercifully he went off injured. We looked poor today when we sat back, we looked better when events forced us to attack. AUSTIN TAKE NOTE!

Double extra training and fitness regimes allied to encouraging words and open tactical discussions - maybe it has been happening but I've heard nothing. So far every side we play has been streets ahead in fitness.

He needs to get 90 minutes of major effort out of this squad first...the fitness and commitment levels are currently those of a bunch of losers - let's hope today is different!

Dear Kelvin,
1) Has NBC told you when they will finally decide on the land lease issue? 2) Have you a design for the East Stand to publish? 3) Have you plans to increase the capacity for the rest of the ground (12K)? 4) If so do they include safe standing and the corners developed? 5) Can we expect new owners or investors before the start of next season? 6) Will the new manager be an up and coming person who hasn't been sacked or failed previously? 7) Will it be a condition that a more attacking/ entertaining style of play will be the aim? 8 Will the new manager be encouraged to play 2 or 3 local young players? 9) Will you be doing a 'open forum' before mid-May? 10) What are your plans for the next 6 months for NTFC?
PERSONALLY: My wish is for a stadium with a 12K capacity including a Conference Centre/ Hotel to SUSTAIN success!
The club is at a massive crossroads under your stewardship!
The only pressing item is a new team that performs properly under a manager who is young, fresh and knowledgeable. The rest of what you want is useless without it.

Watched what I could on i-follow and there was a gulf between the sides - we barely were able to compete to be honest. Well done our fans who made the trip - at least our players came over to thank you at the end. Deeply depressed by the way the club has allowed this rot to develop.

Sorry to say it but the club had time to get shot of Hasselbaink earlier - leaving it so late has left us needing a miracle. As well as being upset I am extremely angry!

Brady's brain is going to be very useful. We all need to be 100% behind the escape attempt because Hasselbaink's sacking is probably 3 games too late. Rejoice! We have a window of opportunity.

Stupid use of a word which now is seriously over-used by people who can't think of something more appropriate that has an accurate meaning. A snowflake is a totally individual creation with beautiful crystals within that are never replicated. So if you refer to someone as a 'snowflake' they must be beautiful and unique.

I like Kelvin Thomas but he's left this too late whatever happens. I'm thoroughly pi**ed-off that no-one's had the perception to see what's wrong and/or hasn't had the the bottle to sort it in time. It's been crystal clear to most long- suffering supporters.

This team has no bottle and just doesn’t play with enough intensity often enough. We are too average too often and deserve to be where we are in the league. It’s not good enough to be decent one day and half paced three quarters of the time . We are doomed
As I keep saying, we arw nowhere near fit enough. We can't manage 90 mins flat-out. No constant pressure on the opposition.

We are still not fit enough to compete strongly for 90 minutes - we need to physically be strong for a whole game and in that respect most sides have out-muscled us.
