Dream land but I would take HArry Forrester who rangers have just released.

From Sky Sports:

Harry Forrester has signed a two-year deal with Iranian side Tractor Sazi, who are managed by John Toshack.

In the wise words of Dr Cox; "I suppose I could riff a list of things that I care as little about as our last week together the checkatrade trophy. Lemme see, uhh... Low-carb diets. Michael Moore. The Republican National Convention. Kabbalah and all Kabbalah-related products. Hi-def TV, the Bush daughters, wireless hot spots, 'The O.C.', the U.N., recycling, getting Punk'd, Danny Gans, the Latin Grammys, the real Grammys. Jeff, that Wiggle who sleeps too darn much! The Yankees payroll, all the red states, all the blue states, every hybrid car, every talk show host! Everything on the planet, everything in the solar system, everything everything everything everything everything everything - eve - everything that exists - past, present and future, in all discovered and undiscovered dimensions. Oh! And Hugh Jackman."

I like this...a lot

From Sky Sports:

Sunderland have bid £1m for Cheltenham Town’s highly-rated striker Mohamed Eisa.

Peterborough and Portsmouth are also keen to sign the 24-year old who joined Cheltenham from Isthmian League side Greenwich Borough last summer.

In his first full year as a professional, Eisa 25 goals, winning the club's supporters' and players' player of the year awards.

Sky Sports News understands that Cheltenham are looking for a fee around £1.5m

Crazy money for a player who's only had one year of professional football.

They have just signed Mahrez from Leicester so he'll likely drop further down the pecking order.

It's good to see a few youngsters going to play abroad like Sancho @ Dortmund. He'll be in the England squad for the next tournament

I get your point but Mahrez is a winger and Foden is a CM. He made 10 appearances for them last year at just 17; I think he will break into their first team much more next season. Maybe too early for an England call up but postentially a star for Man City and England by the next world cup (maybe even the Euros).

He was for a short period - but not all the time a lot of the time he was just on the bench.

Look I hope I'm wrong and Waters comes good!

Starting eleven: 15 (completed 80+ mins 8 times), Substituted in: 3, On the bench: 1 (didn't get on)

Look mate if Cambridge or anyone for that matter in this league had wanted him, he would be gone by now. He only played about 50% for a poor cambridge team - tells you everything you need to know

Injured wasn't he?
8  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: St Albans City (A) - 7th July on: July 10, 2018, 11:39:34 am
Just watched the highlights of this one - nice to see the pressing game still in place and I know you can't take a lot from these games but some good harrying all round that led to a couple of the goals. Would still prefer Waters down the middle but can't complain if he notches a couple like this.

The pitch looks dreadful, maybe Chelmsford do have a legitimate reason to call off the game tomorrow night.

Is this on the main web site ?

JM : these club bank statements show on 23rd July 1.25m coming in (from council) and going out (to 1st Land), then payment in from 1st Land 600k, then money going out..payments out totaling 300k - you paid more than half of the 600k from 1st Land to yourself and your father

DC: my net drawings were what I would have taken over a given year Judge: was this because you thought you were entitled to a salary? DC : absolutely

JM : you felt entitled to money as a salary DC : over 2 years I balanced it out. There were salary arrears. JM : out of money you knew was from council? DC : was from 1st Land.

From Sky Sports:

DONCASTER REJECT BIDS FOR MARQUIS

Aberdeen and Peterborough have had bids for striker John Marquis rejected by Doncaster, according to Sky sources.

It is understood Aberdeen bid £500,000, while Peterborough offered £750,000.
Marquis, who has two years remaining on his current contract, has scored 41 goals in 99 appearances for Doncaster.

The forward moved from Millwall on a free transfer in 2016 and scored 26 goals in his debut season.

Marquis' impressive tally meant Doncaster secured promotion to League One and he was named League Two player of the year.

From Peterborough's chariman's twitter account yesterday:

"Accepted a bid for Junior M & permission given to talk terms tomorrow"

Doubt it's us but who knows.

Very true, but would like to think "one of our own" will get some decent pre-season minutes to develop pending a loan move.

Coddington will be moved on I think.

Wasn't Coddington brought in as a developmental player, same as George Smith and Billy Waters? Smith already sold, Waters didn't get a look in and was shipped out on loan. Hoping Coddington stays and proves his worth (same as Waters). What's the point in getting rid of developmental players so early?

Just read that on his professional debut he replaced the one and only Scott McGleish!
