Could have been anybody, didn't have to be Lincoln, could have been Leyton orient, they were in a better position. The point always was, when many said it couldn't be done, somebody did it. That's all you need to know.

Okay I give in. However I am going to give you the big "I told you so" when we are fighting against relegation next season.

Why do you always get so pissy when other people's opinions differ from yours? You do realise that whatever is said on here doesn't affect who the club decides to sign? Maybe direct your "I told you so" comments to the club instead if you feel so strongly about it.

If we can sign players who will strengthen the squad for next season (ie not another 6 month loan) then great. I can't understand why we are looking at loan players from Fleetwood though when we have 5 in already which is the max you can have in a matchday squad, unless 1-3 of Simpson, Bowie, Leonard are heading back next week.

Freeman is a quality player.
A couple of things I’ve noticed…

Both Callum Morton and Charlie Goode can’t get in their respective squads even for a league cup match.
Are they injured or out of favour?
Anyone know?

Morton has scored 2 in his last 55 games in all competitions, zero in his past 28. Might explain why he’s not making their squad.

 I don’t know if we were ever seriously interested in bringing him back the last time we got promoted, but certainly seems like we dodged a bullet if we were.

Pinnock is one of the few players we have with actual League One pedigree, which some on here seem obsessed with.

Pressley has 8 goals in 45 EFL games (a full season), imagine the comments on here if we signed him.
