Performance of the season. Not a fluke, totally deserved, should have had a cast-iron penalty. Have no idea how to cast a MOM as everyone battled as if their life depended on it. Shame we didn't take that mentality to Posh with us.
Derby were nervy & very disappointing & predictable. I think Pompey are the only side that have a hope in hell in the Championship. It really isn't a great League One this year.

I would love to see Brady make a couple of HT subs, but apart from enforced ones I'm not sure I can recall him ever doing so. Springett, Appéré & McWilliams would at least bring some energy & enthusiasm.

Gape seems to have fallen off the face of the earth & I get why we've recalled Dyche with Willis & Sherring crocked but it's not good for his development if we don't play him, apparently was doing well at Woking.
Surely our priority in the summer is going to be to sign some players with decent fitness records, as soon as we have a couple of weeks of stronger-looking squads you get another couple breaking down. Hope Springett gets some good minutes off the bench today.

Our press is so disorganised compared to theirs, that's what is causing us the most problems. Brady for once hasn't got this tactically right at all. Hope to see Fox & Simpson on to give us a bit more dynamism. Not sure why we were shoutingg so vociferously for offside when Sherring chested it right to their fella, don't think you can call that an unintentional deflection.
Welcome to the mid-table nothingness run in.

Good point from a terribly scrappy performance, hopefully got the stinker out the way before Tuesday as it's rare we have two in a row under Brady. It's inevitable that the performances are going to drop off a touch, hopefully the fact we've got players fighting for contracts will help though.
Thought Charlton were strong & well organised & carried much more of a threat despite not being great. It was a walk in the park for them until that gift. That squad have been terribly mismanaged to be down where they are. Thanks to their keeper for providing us with our one shot on target.
Minus losing May for his header thought Sherring was really good, certainly would have lost that game comfortably without him & Guthrie repelling a lot that was thrown at them. One of those days today where nothing really sticks. Appéré is such a confidence player, you can see him transform a so as soon as he gets a goal. He even won a header today!
I fancy us at Posh having said all that. It's nice to have no pressure on us at all, we can really go at them.

Sunak is an unmitigated disaster, he's only lucky that Liz Truss came before him to slightly undermine his position as worst PM in modern times. His fury that people are overwhelmingly peacefully protesting the terrible genocide going on right now is absolutely sickening. He honestly makes my stomach churn. Trying to make ridiculous non- statements to appeal to the right of the party ain't gonna work buddy, you're toast.

I'd call Burton's style agricultural but that would be offensive to all farmers. They didn't even look National League standard.
Tricky to play against though, I thought that was a thoroughly professional performance. We always look so much more solid with Guthrie & Sherring together. Won so many second balls to protect Moulden really well.
Disgusting treatment of Leonard, how the hell their no. 4 escaped at least a booking for poleaxing him I have no idea. He was just running circles around them.
Congrats lads, League One football assured for another season.
