1  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Where Are They Now? Liverpool v Cobblers 2010 on: August 25, 2019, 00:21:19 am
Billy the goal still doing it oop north. Watch him regularly at the global while in the jail end. He is definitely in the top two in the staggies squad for skill and composure on the ball. Had a cracking goal per game ratio in the promotion season last year until breaking his arm sweeping in his third agin Ayr. Majority of his goals now come when he drops into midfield to get the ball and passes to the wingers, then gets in the box for the cross or rebound.

Always remember that rainy night in Liverpool.

Hopefully Moyo will be in the team on Saturday when I'm in the jail end watching the Staggies.

We are through to the southern area quarter finals, they will be played week commencing 7th January, so we could have another free weekend beforehand if Tranmere beat Southport in their FA cup replay.

Area semi finals are played just two weeks later, with the area finals taking place in the last week of February and the Final at Wembley on 31st March.

Worth noting that we earned £20,000 in prize money for tonight’s win! That goes with the 20k for taking part and the 10k prize for the wins in the group stages. So 60k so far from this much derided competition....and 40k on offer for winning the next game!

The next round its still regionalised, but the round after isn't (qf).
I think only live televised matches get that amount of money. The away club can claim travel expenses from the home club from the proceeds of the match. If after the home ground expenses( stadium lighting, police, ambulance, stewards etc) then we might get a couple of percent from the left over monies. If there is a loss from the game, the home club might be reimbursed, but only for group matches and only at EFL discretion.
