Real ale I'm not moaning about the feasibility.
I'm happy that DC may at last have a chance to build the stadium and recoup his investment.
I am at a loss to see how anyone could moan if I wanted to see some money spent on the squad given that everyone is quite content for us to borrow £12M for the stadium. I suggest a couple of hundred thousand be spent/borrowed/loaned to improve the playing side and everyone moans saying we are putting the future of the club at risk!!
If we continue to fail to invest in good enough players to fire the imagination of the public and double our 5000 attendance to the required 10000 to fill it then it wont matter how many revenue streams there are.
It seems to be a very 'safe' way of borrowing 12 million, your way takes us down the road of Leeds, Coventry, Rushden etc.

Is is that hard to see that this is a plan for the future? If you plough a load of money into the team now then you may bring in a few more supporters if you get the success, but then you will not have a ground big enough to reap the rewards going forward.
By doing it this way the club gets a better ground through money borrowed from the government (hopefully with 0% interest?) and gets the benefit of all the corporate revenue that the boxes and conference facilities will bring in every day of the year and not just on matchdays. We also get all the revenue generated by the building of 300 houses to help pay back the loan, seems a fantastic plan to me.

Maybe before the match all of us who frequent here and Twitter could meet up, call it a pre season #NTFC Tweetup?
Great idea, see you at Abington Park. I'll bring the knuckledusters

If you are a football fan over the age of 21 and you support the Mongs then you have abandoned the club you supported before Winkleman did his dirty deeds and you should be ashamed of yourself. A football club is for life, not for Christmas.

That's more like it! It's true though, every single person I have met when visiting you has been nothing other than lovely and I'll bet that you are too if I met you.
Thanks for the date offer but I'm married

We could have started with RVP up front and the result would have been the same, how can anyone not see that we lost it in defence and midfield is totally beyond me. I thought Collins had an absolute mare, where the hell was he for all 3 goals?

I came along to your forum to offer some commiserations to you on what must have been a very flat experience but I am a little surprised to read the comments on this thread.
You are a nice family club, with a lovely little ground and friendly polite fans. Bradford are a much more 'passionate' bunch who make a lot more noise both home and away.
In all my visits to you I have never really heard any noticeable noise or real passion (reading on here afterwards how that was the best atmos you've had in the last five years and what animals our supporters are etc.) and your away following is more or less the quietest we see all year.
It really shouldn't come as a surprise that Bradford were the only ones making any noise over the weekend - plus they were winning from early doors obv - I just wouldn't worry yourselves too much and enjoy the fact you are a nice club with a smaller fanbase. There's nothing wrong with that!
What a condescending prick you are, shove your nice family club up your arse and f*** off!

I was up in the Gods in block 515 and the loudest singing I heard all day was from about twenty 50-60 year olds on the train back to MK with renditions of 'I was born under the Hotel End' and 'We've got Harry Walden on the wing'.

Is that true? Typical they play the big "We are doing everything to help our customers" and then make us all travel into London and then out again after the match. The guy at MK station didn't tell me that when he sold me the tickets. I think Southern Rail will still be doing direct trains from Wembley to MK?
