Get him off! I think he visits every forum with his 'good time to play us' routine, then comes back the next day when they lose so that he can say 'told you so' coupled with insincere magnanimity whilst listing all the reasons (excuses) why they lost!
Either that or he's a very friendly chap!
Dear Buster - let me put you right on this one - Idle Bantam is a very genuine footy fan and a lifetime supporter of his local club, together with his lovely family. I walked to VP with him and his 89 year old dad and mid 20's daughter yesterday, and it's a delight and privilege to know them all. Idle Bantam first contacted this page after the atrocious post-match behaviour by a few of their knob-head fans following the match on the anniversary of the tragic fire at VP, when so many Cobblers fans had contributed to the support fund and laid their scarves on the memorial. We have remained friends ever since - even through the debacle at Wembley - and I look forward to many more years of banter and friendship. So please don't EVER accuse him of being anything less than genuine in his comments. Thanks, and best regards. UTC - and UTB!

Smashin' afternoon - VP is my local match, living in Leeds. Pint and lunch with our good Bradford friend and sometime commentator on here - Idle Bantam - and then sat next to the Bingers boys at the match. Very astute and knowledgeable young men - might just have got it from their dad . . . . . comments welcome! BTW, now only 13 points behind Pompey in lowest play-off place, with 18 matches to go. Who knows . . . . ?

lol....good memory!! Obviously took the artist a bit of time to work out he was graffitying upside down, hence his "J" becoming an "L"...... Reminded me of the graffiti in Liverpool in the 1970s - "What would YOU do if God came to Liverpool?" To which someone had replied "Move St John to inside left!" Immortal!

Sure, it's a bit grim at the moment, but looking at the other teams in the bottom half we have a better (=less bad) goal difference than all of them apart from The Wombles. We have also scored more and let in fewer than just about all of them. Most of the 11 defeats have been by the odd goal, rather than a stuffing. But the trend is undeniably downwards and we HAVE to start scoring again.

After the humiliation of Stourbridge I reckon we'll win this. You normally win after getting embarrassed. There's still alot of hate towards Page but this is a big game nevertheless. I can't see KT getting rid of him before the transfer window.
Prediction 2-0 Cobbs.
Hi Dr F - did you know your prediction was quoted in the "i" newspaper on Saturday ?

I wanted to make my racing snail able go a bit faster, so I took its shell off. Didn't work. Just made it more sluggish.

First of all, a warning, not all of you will get this - yes Evers, I do mean you. Orman I think will get it as will The Major. Some might need to have a bit of a think.
Did you know you can tell the gender of an ant by putting it in water? If it sinks it's girl ant and if it floats it's...
Bingers' Crackers! In every sense.

Younger Boy Bingers is not looking forward to school today - still has raw memories of three years ago.
Trying to claim a sore throat.
Can't have been from cheering! He would do better claiming toothache from too much grinding!

First half was pretty even, but for most of second we were a disjointed shambles, unable to put any sort of flowing play together and looking shaky in defence. Could have been 4-0. Only mitigated by the company of Bingers and his Binglets, and my hip flask.

In previous years I have used a "pop-up" car park on Midland Road, about 100 yards from the away turnstiles. Not sure if is still available - will drive over and have a look today.
Yep - still seems to be there, but locked today. Looks a bit muddy inside, so bring your wellies. If the rain continues, an inflatable dinghy would also come in handy.
