Can't help but think that the cash may have run out at Crawley and Evans is the first rat to leave the sinking ship as it were. I wonder where the money (about £2.8m) received for Tubbs and Sinclair has gone?

Agree that being mathematically safe will be a big relief. Our team should be very highly motivated for the game on Monday as most of them were involved when they mugged us on New Year's Eve. There is the potential for an upset but I don't expect us to get a result.

First things first, let's get those 2 or 3 wins and get ourselves mathematically safe from relegation.
We've probably got the toughest 2 games out of the bottom 7 teams over Easter, so things could look a little different on Monday evening (although I hope not).
However there's no doubt that Aidy has brought a certain spirit to the club which was missing under Johnson. We seem to have a plan on the pitch, and the transformation in some players has been unbelievable.
Assuming we do stay up, there will be an interesting summer of transfer activity ahead, with quite a few outgoings and hopefully some more good players coming in.

In the first 30 mins or so Crewe were playing what was basically 4-2-4. This meant that our 5 midfielders were left to look after only 2 midfielders.
Second half we managed to push them back to more of a 4-4-2 shape and get the ball in to Bayo.
It's interesting that Crewe's supporters were moaning about our 'hoof' style and physical tactics. I don't think we are that much of a hoofball team, but we do have a clear size advantage over some teams which we use to our advantage.

Much love to you too.
However I'm definitely not Tony Clarke who has his own (rather obvious) username on here.
If MODs would like to delete this topic please feel free. It was just an attempt to make a bit of light of yesterday's cliffhanger last 10 mins.

I've heard this morning that Aidy is going to take an extended break for the rest of this season. Apparently the sheer excitement in the climax of yesterday's game has made him decide that it's best to plot for next season from a beach. Andy King will be left to make sure the club remains where it was when Aidy left it.

Just seen the BBC website highlights (which are longer than the FL show).
I thought on Saturday that we could've easily scored 5 or 6 goals, and the highlights fully back that up. Guttridge had two very good chances in the first half, as did Young (who didn't seem confidet enough to shoot) and Silva in the second half.
All very promising.

4 wins in 6 is great and we've come on a lot in the last couple of months.
However... our next 5 games contain tough away games at Dagenham, Accrington, Burton and Crewe. With a 'dogfight' home game against Plymouth in the mix.
I think it's fair to say that after these 5 we'll have a true feel of what the final run in will look like.

I think GJ is quite insecure as a person, this means that he thrives off the love from Yeovil's crowd. The reverse is true of our crowd.
Lastly I think AB is simply a better man manager, knows how to build people's confidence as well as constructively knock them down if needed.
