Spoke to him at the game today. Had his 4th and hopefully final op last night. No more metal in the leg. Out of the protective cast in 6 weeks. Certainly in better spirits than previous! Hope to see him back this year!

Deegan and hooper looked decent. Hooper could be a good type of striker to have, someone with a bit of pace. Deegan ex cov so obviously Aidy knows him. Purse could be decent backup.

Our centre midfield is going to be a huge improvement on last year. Obviously so early but carter and deegan can both pop it around. Morris was a pleasant surprise looked good on the ball and a tall lad, think its safe to say we got the better player than Torquay have now acquired.

Northampton town football club will not be bullied or threatened. Fairly strong stuff indeed. I grow weary of this saga already, damn right the club will make it clear, this is what has been agreed, deal with it.

Remember dickinson getting 2 when Southend put 5 past us, remember moshni getting 2 aswell that game. Seemed to remember thinking he was decent. Certainly an out and out striker for which we are craving. Would be happy with this.

For some reason I dont see Mansfield or Portsmouth challening that high, maybe playoffs, but I think Portsmouth will finish around 9th this season. Purely a hunch.

I agree that Fleetwood should be up there with the money they are banding around. Thing Chesterfield will be up there also. Burton losing Zola and Maghoma will mean they cannot push again.

Seriously, why does everyone keep putting Collins at right back? He has plated centRE back and left back his whole career. I'm sure he could do a job there, but Tozer is much more likely to on the right and Collins in the centRE rather than the other way round. Weirdos.

I guess because we dont have a specialist right back, and Collins seems to have the most natural footballing ability of our defenders. Cameron and Langers would seem to be a good Centre Back pairing, and AB did say when collins re-signed he could do with JJ did but better. Guess that could possibly mean right back.

Good news - I think. Good player to have around the squad and his long throw is a great weapon. Not sure I'd have him in the first 11 though.

This. Can cover a number of positions, key work being cover. Long throw was a big weapon next year. Decent rotation option, always gives everything.

Id be very happy if Roy stays but can see him getting a club in league 1. Agree with the Cameron statements, looked really good last few games of last season. Would like to see Gutts stay, if Harding and Tozer stay on reduced wages as squad players that will be fine.

We used 34 players last season....hardly ended up a "small, quality squad" did it? Also interesting that the Chronic says that we spent more money on players last season than we did in the previous 8 years. That period takes in the last season of Calderwood, the Gray reign, and even the Johnson year......but ADB spent more than any of them! 
Also says that Aidy has a list of 15 centre forwards he'd like to bring in.......

Turnbull, Bayo, Robinson all big earners not bought in by Aidy. We used loads of loan players as squad fillers, Mukendi, Roofe, Huws etc, we never had a load of players at one particular time.

The fact that a league 2 player can go to a team like Aberdeen really does highlight how poor the spl is to be honest!
