Steve Burr with Guinan as assistant?
Following his release by Forest Green, Guinan signed for fellow Football Conference side, Kidderminster Harriers on 27 May 2011.[18] In September 2012, Guinan was offered the chance to become player/coach at the Harriers and the club saw an immediate turnaround in fortunes, rising from bottom place to finishing second, helping the club secure a play-off place in the Blue Square Premier.[19] The club failed to beat Wrexham in the play-off's but Guinan was offered and subsequently took the role as the club's Academy Manager in combination with his 1st Team Coaching role[20]
Guinan is an A licensed coach, has an honours degree in Sports Science, holds the League Managers Association's Certificate of Applied Management and is an FA Level 1 and 2 coach educator. In March 2012, Guinan was chosen to lead the England Universities team in the Home Nations tournament that took place the following month[21] and furthered his international coaching experience with the appointment as Assistant Coach to the Great Britain Universities Football Squad at the World University Games in Russia, 2013.[22] Success followed Guinan again and his influence helped the Great Britain squad defeat Malaysia, Ukraine and Russia in the tournament before losing to France after extra time in the final but winning a silver medal for his efforts [23

This might be one for Marvo but this season and especially recently how many headed goals have we conceded? I can think of Grimsby, Burton and Newport.
Also how many have Paul Reid been responsible for?

Clive Platt was a good player and showed that a few times for us. Unfortunately he missed 70% of the games while he has been here and in the games he has played has been so obviously not fit in a high percentage of them, Wembley being the prime example. If he leaves it would be a massive boost to be able to pay his salary to someone who will be available to play. In an ideal world he would be retired off without sucking any more finance from the club than he already has. He seems like a nice bloke but then I’d be happy to take a wage every month for minimal return on my part.
This.

Agreed - two players crossing each other - probably no foul but if you had to call it a foul against us - for a linesman to call a penalty for that challenge and in that position truly bizarre .........
Sammo on radio Northampton was adamant that the lino did not flag for the penalty and it was the refs decision. Another nothing penalty.

You can imagine the following happens. Hargreaves gets an interview with the cobblers which he is interested in but torn because his life is on the South Coast. Then the Torquay manager's job comes up. Worse prospects as a club, worse pay and lower budget. But a place where he is happy, can keep an eye on his shop, not uproot his family etc.
If it is the case will be a test of his ambition as a manager. Sean Dyche went to Burnley to progress his career despite living around here.
If an attachment to the Devon area is going to plague him if he comes to the Cobblers then I'd rather he stayed down there. Plenty more fish in the sea.

I'd imagine given the Cork connection, it's Joe G*mble (one of their existing players) who has got O'Donovan involved.
Lowest goal scorers in the Football League, rock bottom going into 2014 and we're selling one of our only goal threats? I'm not one to look for motives or conspiracy theories but strikes me as the club trying to shift a high earner before we're relegated especially as there is no transfer fee involved.
ROD is a good player but not done much since he's been with us. So meh.
