Seeing as people are asking. How many really want him to leave?
Provided he and the side come good am happy with him or anybody who can achieve this.My main concern is the amount of money required for payoff incl his aides. Finally would not like the Club being labelled as a firing Club; it wont be helpful in future recruitment.

What turned me against him after supporting him throughout was the ridiculous team selection on Saturday . If he had selected any combination except Rico and Revell or played Smith as a wing back / Buchanan in a flat 4 , I would have stuck with him . He put a noose around his own neck in that game .
Had grave doubts after Salop.

Peterborough are literally 4 wins from 4 playing the wing back formation. It 100% works when it suits the players you have in the squad.
We were once upon a time promoted from League 2 when Calderwood played it.
Thought that Smith and Phillips looked the part; so Smith and Powell?

Apparently when asked why he stayed in the dugout for the majority of the match the patronising prick actually had the nerve to say that he did it to make it about the players and not him!
Man04 thought he spoke well ; unlike you to be so out of sync with his comments.

I got told for both the Fleetwood and Posh games that my 11 year old lad could not be searched as he was a child?
They made him turn his cap around on Saturday, but other than that he hasn't been searched at all.
Nobody in our queue complained, it was all relatively civilised! In fact it was good humoured. The only observation I would make is they should have two doing the search and a woman security officer further down the line checking the ladies etc. This would speed things up. Are all the grunts coming from posters not actually there or genuine complaints?

4-4-2 was a slight improvement, however.... I don't recall Coddington playing the ball out once. Far too many long balls from defence and the midfield was anonymous. Thought Rev's did OK and got his goal. They looked far livelier and had the best chance of the second half. We are clearly devoid of any real ideas and confidence, including JE who was hibernating. No pattern or real style of play in evidence. It was just a depressing reminder of how far we've got to go to stay up this season.
More or less spot on. All our penalties were good, theirs not quite so good with Coddington getting his hand to some of them plus of course the one he saved. Second half was poor; Waters ran well with the ball, but he runs into trouble and seems unable to pass. Midfield was not in the game, although Grimes and McWilliams showed a few L1 quality moments. Barnett and Taylor ok as defenders but cannot pass a ball out of defence for toffee. Powell bit of a nearly man! Perhaps things will improve when JJOT and Foley get involved. On this showing we need a winger, a decent number 10 and somebody who can score an odd goal or two. We had nobody on the pitch who looked capable of scoring; apart maybe from Revell who show a neat turn of mis control , recovered and slotted the ball home. On this showing we don't look good enough and the "good" signings are looking anything but good. MOM Coddington

I'll be disappointed if as many as 1,000 show up for this farce of a competition.
I hope we play 5-3-2 with Rico and Revell up front and get stuffed 4-1.
I hope we get stuffed and he goes . I'd like to think he can turn it around but I'm afraid I can't see it after saturdays selection catastrophe
You two come on here just to spout that nonsense?

The nice weather will bolster what is likely to still be a sub-2000 attendance. I think we'll play a strong team and Cambridge a weak one. I think we'll win 2-1. We have to have six regular first teamers in the starting XI. I would go with: CODDINGTON MOLONEY(c) BARNETT TAYLOR SMITH KASIM CROOKS POWELL GRIMES BOWDITCH IACIOFANO Iaciofano on his own! Where is Poole?

So a first team regular, on the eve of a local derby, openly told a complete stranger the manager has one last chance to get it right. The team, including the 'first team regular' then went onto loose 4-1. He also told the stranger that the dressing room as been lost and all players are completely confused about the formation. Sounds a likely story to me The acid test for Rach and any other(s) who believe him is ask if they are going tonight?

KT is going to have to weigh up the cost of sacking JED and Kerslake, which is bound to cost a lot, against the hope that he will be able to turn things around. He's already had to compensate Page and to keep spending the playing budget on managers isn't going to do the club much good in the medium or long term.
JED's argument is going to be that he did the job he was asked to do last season by keeping the club in League one and you can't justify sacking a manager after four tough games at the start of the next season with a group of players that barely know each other.
At last well thought out post pointing out the problems facing the club. Hope all the doubters read it!

On what basis do you think we won't be relegated? Genuinely want to know.
We have a decent squad plenty of time, perhaps couple of Feds brought in. On what basis do you think we will be relegated?

Exactly this. If he doesn't get sacked this week, we are finishing bottom of League 1. The fact he is at training is devastating.
Bet we are not relegated , unlike you to be so downbeat?

It's a bank holiday, maybe KT would rather spend it with his family. If nothing happens today then he'll be in charge for at least the Cambridge match, not that I will be going.
Why not 😡?

Been watching them since 1964 and Im afraid its the same old story time and time again and will be until the day they put me to bed. Every time we start to get somewhere we have the rug pulled, we sometimes get lucky (Richard Hill/Morley combo etc) or with the likes of Wilder then we cannot keep them, I thought at last on the terrific away day at Portsmouth that this is a club finally going somewhere, then Wilder goes and its the same old story, such a pity as I must say we have a fantastic set of support and always have had, do not agree with all those who moan at us moaning, its in the Northampton blood, get over it. Better than boring southerners or hyped up Northerners. Keep dreaming..
Thks Pep , decent appraisal. Your right losing Wilder was a hammer 🔨 blow. Then Holmes left ; even at Charlton we managed to applaud him and he reciprocated. If only!

What on earth do NTFC offer that Rocdale dont ? Why would Hill leave to come here ?
Bigger club by attendance! More of a history admittedly going back 50+ yrs. Probably more money. However I believe he failed at Barnsley so for me leave well alone. My money is on J.Brady esq if only as a temporary measure.
