Would Ivan Toney perhaps fit that description. Scunny want to take him back on a season long loan. We've already pipped them to the signing of Crooks so I'm sure we could entice local lad Ivan back...
Nevertheless, I cannot wait to see who these next two signings will be...
Much as I would like to see IT back here he maybe too similar to what we have already.

Can't be any worse than Wednesday night... least I hope not.
Would like some style of play begin take shape, lot of long punts at Rushden, plus really sloppy play and poor positioning.
Those long punts at Rushden were very evident in the last 20 mins.

And what you have seen so far is not a lot, and certainly not enough to judge them yet.
I know that! Merely said "jury out" - in other words wait and see. I also feel that some will be going out on loan.

I think Crooks, JJOT and Kasim will be the main three that get used - Taylor is getting on a bit, McWilliams is still really young and I can sort of see Foley getting lost in the shuffle.
It's entirely possible that JJOT gets pushed up behind the striker though in order to accommodate using Foley a bit more but that might end up being Bowditch. Still, as you say it's strength in depth and having these options is fantastic since it means we are good for injuries and makes us a bit unpredictable which is ultimately going to help give us the edge.
If Kasim gets in the matchday squad I will be surprised!

I got 40/1 with Bet365, it's moved to 28/1 now but you can still get 40/1 with some - try oddschecker.com
Had a look at most but ended up joining Skybet for £5.00!! But then upped bal to £10.00 bet £5.00 Top 2 14/1 £75.00 then 2 free bets of £5.00 Promotion 8/1 £40.00 and Playoff winner 22/1 £110.00 Still have a number of free £5.00 bets left plus cash balance of £5.00 Last of the big spenders The odds appear to be narrowing , but will wait to free bet deadline of end August before placing further bets.

Another great signing, and by and large a great summer of transfer dealings thus far. I echo the sentiment that we need a goalie and a proficient striker......JED knows we do...and for the first season in a long time i'm confident we'll get them!!
Just to add a little perspective : From what I have seen so far the jury is out so far on : Kasim, Lobjoit, Barnett and perhaps Bowditch. Most of us have not seen Taylorjunior,Crooks or even Pierre! Echo your sentiments as it look good. Some of the new signings wont make the bench! The real plus so far is Goff in goal.

Shame we can't bring on an NFL style special team.
Very tasty looking squad now, surely the best on paper for some time. GK and another attacking player pending, there is strength and depth all over with the 2nd string on par with our 1st string last season. Plus, these could be shifted around in numerous ways to cover or create any formation going.
GK/Cornell Maloney/Phillips A.Taylor/Poole Pierre/Barnett Buchs/Smith
JJOT/Kasim Crooks/M.Taylor
Waters/Hoskins Foley/Bowditch Powell/New Attacker
Rico/Revell
Four of the above won't even get in to the squad, along with McWilliams, Lobjoit, Iaciofano and Goff who might be well advised to get on loan ASAP if they want serious game time.
McWilliams will make the match day squad if not in the 11.

I'm sure the guy he assaulted shares your opinion.
He might well do - expect he has claimed damages etc and the perpetrator has been fined plus prison etc My sympathy is with the victim. Still don't like the moralistic tone some will take.

No, bit of a bad apple I believe. Will probably be going back to Scotland anyway.
. Good player and a reformed one too - I dislike these moral stances. If he happens to come here the least we can do is offer hope and rehabilitation.

Agree with your comments. I actually think it's a bit unfair to expect him to jump 7 levels and play in a new position, but I guess if JE can turn him in to a striker/wide player then it opens up more opportunities for him in terms of playing time.
It's very rare a player makes this sort of jump successfully, at least not an immediate jump of 7 levels. Jamie Vardy went from level 8 - level 1 but played at various levels in-between. Scott Hogan went from level 8 - level 2 but again he played at various clubs in-between. Perhaps one of the best examples might be Conor Washington who went from St Ives in the UCL (level 9) to Newport Country (level 4) and had instant successes. Now at QPR of course. Lobjoit is coming from level 10 where up until the last 5 years or so it wasn't even mandatory to have floodlights or a bar around the pitch! With the greatest of respect it's incomparable to the professional game.
I think Lobjoit has the physical attributes but his touch needs to improve significantly.
Good sensible comment. Loibjot will have to learn to master the basics PDQ. Maybe the others had or acquired a greater degree of skills!

Not sure if changed since earlier in the year, but:
Can a player be loaned out from a club where he is already on loan?
Incredibly yes! Yesterday Leicester signed Mali international Molla Wague on loan from Udinese, where he is already on loan from Granada.
This was possible because any loan spell lasting a season or more is registered as a permanent transfer by Fifa, and Wague was sent on a three-year loan to Italy by the Spanish club in 2014
well researched!
