Apparently the introduction of D'ath and Hoskins changed the team for the better when they came on. Pace quickened up.

Had a read on "O's" forum and Cox is well thought of - being released (apparently) along with Jay Simpson due to wage constraints. However according to some posters Cox is still in "rehabilitation mode" after recovering from Cruciate injury. As you know that's a serious career injury. Might as well give Reuben Reid a 12 month contract!

Good draw and a good side too never in trouble last season in Prem.

Just got back from the game.

We put together a lot of really good football throughout and we were completely on top for large amounts of the game against what should be a decent championship side, jj and taylor will be a great pairing for us this year and Gorré looked really lively.

Defensively we looked decent, although not impressed with Phillips, gave the ball away far too often.





Our problem this year is going to be goals, we need more attacking/goalscoring in the team - we just lacked any real goal threat today, loads of really good build up play, some really great touches and link ups but nobody looked threatening up front really.

Hoskins came on and did really well, put himself about and some great passing from him.

Shout out to the fickle fans behind me who at half time were saying how useless JJ was, only to be singing his praises and saying how they've always said how great of a player he is on the walk out the stadium 
If we can add a bit more attacking treat this could actually be a very very good team.

I didnt think we had an outstanding performance from anybody ; in my mind it was between Taylor, JJOT and Revell.
Going with my gut feeling at the game:

Agree 100%. Thats why Jordan Archer, and Daniel Alfei commanded a starting spot. Despite both being sh1t.

Archer not that bad - he was Millwalls first choice last season.

What I heard on Saturday was that Toney did not come on loan for financial reasons and it was said on Saturday he was on his way to Shrewsbury. If and I stress if the reason was financial it doesn't hold out much hope of a Church or Le Fondre coming to Sixfields.

I dont believe that for one moment as Toney is too similar to Revell/Richards so would spend a fair amount of time on the bench.
