Let's get some perspective on this. The majority on the poll are against the ground share.
41.9% is certainly not a majority. I do'nt want to be pedantic , but please don't spout on thinking you are talking for most of us. Personally i am not decided.,but if they don't play at sixfields i think they will be no more ,so i am edging towards being in favour of the rental agreement; they then have a chance at least.

There are so many ways that people on here can get an answer to the questions they have.
They can email the club They can attend the open forums They can write to the club They could even call the club
But no.............
Instead they spend hours filling their pointles lives on here, dragging up the same points over and over again.
Those that do it, don't really want answers. If you did you would ask someone who actually knows.
It has fcuk all to do with anyone on here what the club is making from any transaction. Your job is to support the side that is fielded by AB. You pay to watch a game of football with no guarantees of success.
You're not share holders, or business parners, your just a supporter.
It's about time you got over your own self importance and realised that nobody who is more than a few feet away from your keyboard, gives a flying fcuk what you think.
The fact that some of you keep churning out this b*llocks is a fair indicator that you don't have any insight into how thick you sound, when you start demanding a breakdown of the clubs daily business.
One things for sure. Next time DC attends an open forum and you get the chance to come along, I'd bet my ars*hole down Becketts park, you'll either be washing your hair, or sitting in a seat like a trappist monk, whilst others put their point across.
That's a very blunt and undiplomatic post, but yes the truth often hurts.

SkyBlueSquirrel It seems quite clear that moving to a groundshare for three years is actually designed to keep your club in existence. If you choose not to show support of the team then that's up to you ,but it smacks of cutting off your nose to spite your face. Just curious, if the groundshare was Walsall ,would you have been any happier.

I do feel for the cov fans as they have always been a decent bunch of proper football supporters and I can see why they don't want to travel but in the long run I think by not doing so it will speed up the sad demise of their club.
If they choose not to travel(which is of course their choice) then I doubt they will exist in 3 years. Maybe this has got to a point where both the owners and fans are ready to accept this.
It seems odd that you'd give up but I guess they've been through hell of a lot. I'm happy for them to groundshare if in some small way it helps keep their club alive. However the majority of cov fans don't want it and seem ready to throw in the towel. I see on their forum they are asking the cobbs fans for solidarity with their boycott but by doing so I don't know if I'm helping make a stand or just speeding up the winding up of their football club. To me it seems they have little option but to play here because as fans they don't have a say(which is wrong). Surely it's better to swallow your pride than see the club go under though. I remember sitting excitedly as a lad watching Keith houchen score a wonder goal to win the fa cup for cov and dreamt maybe one day it could be the cobblers doing that. I'd have never thought then that we would have reached where we are today. Don't give up cov fans because us cobbs fans support you it's just that like you there's not a lot we can do as who will listen. Don't think bad of us as we're a decent bunch who hope you can survive.
Now that's a good post. The point is that the owners have refused to play at the Ricoh...so should the club fold or should it play elsewhere. I would prefer they play at sixfields than fold completely. I would also go and see them play for the sake of seeing a game of football ,just as i would go to other clubs i dont support but want to watch a game of footie.

I think your troubles are fairly well documented and most footie fans will sympathize with the sky blues fans. I for one would be happy to see you at sixfields and will go see a fair few of your games. Hopefully the pitch will be up to it and i'm sure those that know about these things have thought this through fully, so i'll go with their judgement. Good luck for the future.

Interesting footage of the goal from an Argyle viewpoint on you tube. Looks clear enough on there that the goalie and defender collided but they wont have it. look up this title on you tube for the video clip.
Northampton v Plymouth Argyle; 1-0 Platt/Cole OG
View from about 1minute 50 secs for the goal.

Just announced on Radio Northampton that Sheridan has come out and admitted it was a fair goal after all. They also said it's been awarded to Platt. Suppose no one else wanted to claim it as an O.G ,but it looked like it went over the line before Platt made sure.

Why was that? You missed about five minutes of the game and possibly the most exciting - all things considered. Do you leave a cinema when there's five minutes to go in the film?
I wasn't at the cinema and have never encountered a traffic management system when leaving the flicks .

My point was that at the time most assumed it was a foul on the keeper. Replays proved it wasn't but on most occasions the keepers do seem to be over protected by the ref and normally get the benefit of doubt.

To be honest ,i was surprised the ref allowed the goal...pleased but surprised. I think if any opposition scored a goal against us like that we would be spitting bullets. Haven't seen it on TV yet to decide if it was a goalie error/foul or not ,either way it looked like he dropped it over the line so it should certainly be an O.G. Hope Argyle manage to stay up, great support like they have shouldn't be lost to the conference.
