Looks like Duke is an unreal signing for us but by the sounds of things, a lot of improvements are needed despite the result.

If ADB is waiting on Platt to be fit and for him to be our main striker - we are doomed this season.

I am really pleased to see that the development is happening and that we are heading in the right direction!

I wonder if the West stand will be the same as the stand at stadium:MK with the hotel built onto the stand? or will the hotel be separate?
5  The Hotel End / Other Football & Sport / Re: Groundshare with Coventry poll on: July 04, 2013, 10:42:09 am
The only way I can see the pitch not being ruined is if we put 50% artificial grass and 50% real grass on it otherwise the pitch is going to be a state especially if winter was as bad as it was last year.

Give the lad a chance for f**k sake

We've given a lot of players a chance and they've proven to be awful!

Will miss him massively, if he leaves it's time for a change of tactics, because platt doesn't offer no where near as much as bayo does.

I was saying this to a friend the whole game, that most people were sat down and quiet. I know we lost and it was humiliating but still, join in. The bradford end looked like a massive party and it sounded good, I was disappointed with our fans today.
9  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Bradford fan in peace on: May 08, 2013, 15:07:27 pm
Bradford is a stunning place.  Firstly you open your eyes and admire the architecture. Secondly you leave the city centre and visit bronte country ( Haworth to you ) or Skipton, Ilkley or the dales, all of which fall under Bradford.  Hence why 500,000 people live there. Bradford is an amazing place.  Just a shame you never get to see it.  As for Northampton.  Glass houses springs to mind re the centre.

We won't be seeing it next year when we're in League 1 and you're still in League 2!

In my opinion, Cameron has to start above Langmead because he has put 2 solid performances at the back for us and has built an understanding with Carlisle and we looked very solid at the back home and away. We should also start with the same team who played at home Vs Cheltenham as we dominated the game.

Disappointed with how we are ending the season but as long as we stay in the play off's, I still think we will perform better and have a really good chance of going up. As for the next 3 games, Wycombe will be a very tough game. Some quality players in their side especially Joel Grant. I'm at uni student at Bucks and I work at Wycombe as a steward. They seem to play very well at home and are quite a composed side, they love to give the ball out wide and the wingers like to cut in especially Joel Grant, we can't let him have a run at the defence because I've seen him tear defences apart. Other than that they're not much threat. Port vale of course will be a tough game and also if barnet need points to secure their status they will go all out for a win, but I remain highly confident and as long as we make the play offs, we have nothing to worry about.
13  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: NTFC VS OXFORD - SELL OUT? on: March 24, 2013, 00:33:22 am
Massive 3 points! Now lets push on and make sure we definitely gain automatic promotion. As much as I'd love to watch us win at wembley in the playoff final It'd kill me if we lost!

Given the position we are in, I will be really annoyed if we do not stay in the playoffs and also I will be even more annoyed if we are in league 2 next year!

I'm going to go with East. Very impressed with his performance.
19  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Harding on: August 25, 2012, 17:14:12 pm
tozer is the weak link, the sooner we drop him and actually put harding where he should be, the better well be Smiley agree with gav, tozer should be dropped hes quite simply poor in the middle

I've said this all through pre-season that Tozer is our weak player.
20  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Steve "Tubby McFatf**k" Evans on: August 22, 2012, 22:23:20 pm
I went onto the Rotherham forum and most of there fans agreed that we deserved the points and that it was quite an even game with both teams having spells of decent possession.
They said they were lucky not to go in a t half time 2-3 goals down and they felt they had the better of the play in the second half.
They also reckon that losing to us isn't that bad as we will be in the Top 7 and that we will be a tough team to beat this year.
At least some fans can see sense instead of that fat T***!
