Anyone else already have a bad feeling about this one? I was feeling semi-confident about this game before our most recent injury crisis and realising that Roberts will be unavailable. If we don't carry some sort of attacking threat (which we rarely do without Fosu/Roberts available and firing) it's going to be constant pressure for 90 minutes. If Burge is in goal (he will be) then most of their shots on target will go in... I'd be pleasantly surprised if we keep the deficit to five. Hopefully be a decent day out either way!

I was purely going on the number of seats coloured red in the plan on page 26.
Those are new seats that will be installed as part of the revised plans, which include 2 additional rows to either side of the disabled viewing platform. From the look of it there should only be a handful of restricted view seats. Obviously not ideal but I'm not sure what else they could have done with the structure that they inherited.

North stand again I’m not sure what drugs are floating round in there but they’ve been the most vocal we’ve heard them in years.
I've been in there more often than not since 2016 and the past 2 games are the loudest it's been in that time, especially in the 2nd half when we're attacking that end. Feels like there's a proper connection with the players on the pitch. The atmosphere in general this week has been a LOT better than anything we usually manage at Sixfields, I reckon the last 20 minutes on Saturday was as good as it's ever been at that ground

Anyone with an ounce of sense could see we should have signed Marquis, it was an absolute no brainer! He was already something of a club legend in my book, scoring the most important Sixfields goal in history during his first spell and then going on to help us win the league as part of the best team we've had in a generation.
He was young - perhaps still slightly raw when compared to Rico - but already more than good enough to be playing every week and was only ever going to get better. He also made it public that he was desperate to sign for us and was available for nothing!
We literally couldn't lose by signing him, but we ended up with an ageing journeyman in Alex Revell instead and the rest is history.
The single most catastrophic non-transfer in modern NTFC history.

Sunderland have had a £1,250,000 bid for John Marquis turned down.
That we turned down the chance to sign him for free just a few years ago must rank as the worst single player-based decision by the club that I can remember.
Some sensible and logical decisions in the transfer market were all it would have taken for us to maintain our momentum even after Wilder left. We would have had a properly sound footing both on the footballing and financial side.
But no, sensible and logical decisions are not what they do at NTFC.

Haven't heard the interview, but if that was the case Curle is not fit to be our football manager. Sorry, but thats how strongly I feel about it.
He's as clueless as the rest of them mate. I was furious when we appointed him.
