1  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Season Tickets on: July 08, 2020, 19:47:14 pm
Not sure how you tried to get your ST, but I had the same issue about 2 years ago.

I got mine easily by going into ntfcdirect.co.uk, then used the ‘reserved seating’ tab and NOT the ‘season ticket’ tab, which I remember I used, when I got the issue.

Why? Who knows, obviously something with the way the seats are reserved??

I have tried the reserved seating bit. It just states that I have nothing reserved..
2  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Who would you replace Curle with? on: July 08, 2020, 15:36:25 pm
To be fair it is quite boring, Cobblers have a great end of season pulling off an unbelievable promotion. You just know somebody will troll  back through the threads to pull sh1t like this up. Happening all over social media, whats wrong with some people ? They just love to try and put other fans and the Club down.

I suppose it depends on the nature of the previous comments. Some "supporters" are quite happy to accentuate the negatives all of the time. Often they exhibit behaviour that they would never consider in in any aspect of their life, should they be face to face with someone. Keith Curle was brought in to achieve an objective. On occasions, his method of achieving promotion may not have resonated with some of the support. If they take that as an opportunity to suggest he is inept, or should be relieved of his position, that actually speaks volumes about their lack of understanding.

The good thing about promotion and the news from the club and the council, is that most of those that got it spectacularly wrong, have disappeared. That's because good news to them, is like a cross to a vampire. I'd imagine they are logging in for the obituaries thread. For them, that's the gift that keeps giving.... The overall lesson should be "least said, soonest mended"...

Don’t understand the ‘hard work’ comment? Took me around 5 mins on line yesterday to renew 2 Season Tickets On Line

Mine and a few others I know are finding that there is nothing there once you get the reservation number. It keeps stating that nothing is registered under my name.

Now you understand  Grin

Bloody hard work renewing though. That will put off a lot of potential buyers. Me included at the moment 😀😀
5  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Redevelopment Closer Than Ever? on: July 02, 2020, 20:54:07 pm
Off topic really, but I wonder how many pages this redev thread would be now if we used the exeweb platform!

I will leave it with you to discover how many posts per page they have...

We’d be about 4 times as many 😀
6  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: PLAY OFF FINAL: Exeter City (Wembley) 29 June 2020 on: July 01, 2020, 12:47:21 pm
Nah thats Totnes.

Also why would they give us credit, (apart from the odd one) its an Exeter forum.

From what I have read, they seem quite disparaging about what they see as our rather agricultural methods, but very fair in terms of its effectiveness. As I said. I work in that part of the world. The few that I have spoken to seem shell shocked. I don't think that comes from an arrogant perspective, I just think they were as surprised as us on just how good we can be..  Grin

Whilst we are on opinions. I thought both of the opposition managers form our play off games, were completely accurate and fair in their summary of the games, post match.

Evidence against 30 people investigated over the disappearance of a £10.25m football club loan will be passed to prosecutors within months.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-northamptonshire-53234625

I would imagine there will be a few shocks among those that are named.

Please just be careful what we all say on here. We don't need anymore grief from solicitors that we have already had.
8  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: An apology to Mr Keith (Curley Wurly) Curle on: July 01, 2020, 11:19:28 am
Fair play to the comments here.

There are journo's, football commentators, pundits and fans alike, of all clubs, agreeing that the last performances have not only been the most entertaining football since it's return but also on the style. We have totally destroyed, mentally and physically, two fancied teams in high pressure games and that says hell of a lot.

It's finally clicked for KC and it seems the team are with him. If this confidence continues, not many in league one will enjoy playing us.

Especially the p@@h!

In a nutshell for me..

10  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: An apology to Mr Keith (Curley Wurly) Curle on: June 30, 2020, 17:40:12 pm
I always knew Keith would get promotion  Grin
Well done boy.

😀😀 I know you did.. You’ve driven us mad with your excessive praise of him right from the first day he was appointed. Keith Curle this, Keith Curle that. Hopefully you’ll give it a rest, now the rest of us are on board.

Hello forum. Tried this last night, let's see if it works now...I got my Tiger during lockdown, but had to wait to pick it up. Looking forward to flying to some L.1 away games on it now Cheesy

Nice one mate. Quite like the idea of one of those, or the BMW R1200 as a second bike. The BMW is expensive though. So I wouldn't mind hearing your feedback on the Triumph.
12  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: 2nd chance to see Playoffs on: June 30, 2020, 12:26:02 pm
Apparently League 2 final is being replayed at 1PM on sky sports 403 (in case you missed it..)

Lets hope we play as well as yesterday..
13  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: An apology to Mr Keith (Curley Wurly) Curle on: June 30, 2020, 11:56:04 am
Keith Curle was given a job to do. He has more than filled his remit.

I'm really hoping that we can kick on from this, and people can start to lay off the club and the team. Curles comments about the club and the unity of the whole set up, are echoed throughout all that work there. So the ridiculous comparisons that the detractors use about Cardoza, have hopefully been laid to rest and we can look forward to a more united front. I am satisfied more than ever, that the support on the whole are behind the club.

As I have said before. With the exception of a very small minority, we have a very united support base. Lets look forward to football in league one, with decent crowds and some great away days.

Oh... And a vaccine...  Grin
14  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: PLAY OFF FINAL: Exeter City (Wembley) 29 June 2020 on: June 30, 2020, 11:24:02 am
As a lot of you will know, I spend quite a bit of my work time in the south west. I am due in Exeter and Plymouth either later this week, or early next week. I have to say, I got a very different flavour texts off of the Plymouth and Torbay guys, compared to the Exeter folk. I resisted the temptation to get into anything with the Exeter bunch. But it's fair to say, they have not been very charitable about us.  Grin Grin
15  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: An apology to Mr Keith (Curley Wurly) Curle on: June 30, 2020, 11:19:37 am
Fair play to you.

16  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: PLAY OFF FINAL: Exeter City (Wembley) 29 June 2020 on: June 26, 2020, 13:06:59 pm
Why are we so hated?

I haven't read through anyone other teams forums for years. But recently, after following a few links on here, I have delved a bit further into other supporters thoughts on us. I have to say that I am genuine shocked.

I always thought of us as being a bit of an innocuous bunch of supporters. I'd imagine it's because they are all c*%ts
17  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Cheltenham Town (h) Play-off Semi-final 1st Leg on: June 22, 2020, 22:52:07 pm
The Cheltenham manager nailed it in his post match interview when he said "when you come here, you know what you're going to get"

What a shame for him that it got very un–nailed in the end. If only he had been so prophetic to the end.

Well done Town.. A lesson for many in humility and patience..
18  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Play Off Semi From The Hill. on: June 15, 2020, 20:28:37 pm
Would your view be improved with an extra large selfie stick and smart phone? Then use blue tooth to transmit to the smart TV...

Local radio will do for me...

Sounds like a plan 😁
19  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Play Off Semi From The Hill. on: June 15, 2020, 16:47:03 pm
I will be on the hill, with my smart TV and Sky sports, with half of the screen covered.

Pressure building on Vintage to resign Grin

The only pressure on Vintage, is to accept that there is no such thing as direct polarity when it comes to this issue. The notion that you are either in bed with the Trust, or in bed with KT has been played out to it's adolescent extreme by some involved with the Trust and "some" on the Trust board.

I'm not convinced for one second that any of the sides involved, remotely possessed the altruistic qualities necessary to offer a fair and balanced perspective.

The amount of baggage on a certain plane, meant it would never leave the ground..
