Interesting to mention Wilder who had a s***e run of results every bit as bad as JB's current one - and without the injuries - should we have got rid of him?
In fairness mate. Once he got it right, he was a different class to Brady. He was very much in the ascendancy. Where as, due to many factors, Brady is going in the opposite direction. I'm not suggesting a change at the moment. But he has to accept his rather significant responsibility for our current plight. I’m just loving this chat about football. Rather than land and development.. So much more fun to disagree on something we all love.

What do you actually want?
A team that the fit players outweigh the crocked players by Christmas. And dare I say it. Above 30% possession in any game soon. Is that a lot to ask for?

If it is not clear to Brady when you are assembling a team, that you need to have at least a core of players, who might not be possibly/potentially be brilliant, but can actually make it through a fcuking game. Without missing the rest of the season through injury. It should be dawning on him soon. You can take a punt on one, possibly two potential sicknotes. But during Brady's tenure, injuries have been a constant issue.
None of us want to see him go. But he has to stop hoping that one of these charity cases comes to fruition. If I was KT, I would care a lot less about our league position. But be absolutely insulted by the amount of players at the club, being paid for doing absolutely fcuk all. You sort one. And it sorts the other.

Thats the thing isn’t it. A couple of players like that you can fit in and gamble on, but when you’re gambling on 4 or 5, you’ve got a cohort ready to be replaced (Pinnock, McGowan etc) and a cohort who just can’t stay fit, you’re really in the s***. I said in the summer if we’re in another injury crisis next January it’s basically negligence from Brady.
Agree entirely

Surely this points the finger firmly at another recruitment drive aimed at bringing in players who just could make a difference, if they shake off a history of indifferent form, and persistent injuries. It just doesn’t work.
At the moment, I can only see this going one way..

Following MCHammer's decision to post certain quotes from my PRIVATE message to him and subsequently being contacted by Kelvin Thomas via the Trust Chairman I have decided to cease posting on here and other social media on matters regarding NTFC with immediate effect.
I feel that despite my complaints of abuse and bullying by regular posters and mods of this board over the years, the skullduggery has now escalated to such a point that the lengths some will go to know no bounds. This has reached the point now that people, including MCHammer, think it is acceptable to publish private responses despite it being a reply to a constant demand for "evidence" and even starting their reply with soft words like, it's not personal! By any standards this is low conduct. As many of you know, I suffer from a mental condition that means I "talk or type" too much, that I can't stay quiet when I feel there is unjust things being done and that I "overshare" and must win an argument. I had the phone call a year or so ago from an Administrator of this site expressing his concern about my mental health, only for a week later for him to continue his ridicule and abuse, all of which has increase greatly over the last few months. And now we are back round to this time of year when SOMEONE starts pushing their agenda of getting rid of the Trust board and here we are, surprise, surprise, with a senior poster on the board, by the way a professionally qualified person, goading me into a private message, so that it can be used against me by people with an agenda. Upon reflection the whole situation has become totally toxic with ALL parties playing their part in it and it's something that has to stop NOW. I don't want this to escalate further because if it does, then I too will be seeking claims against both THE and MCHammer on grounds, including but not limited to, of breaching my privacy and causing emotional distress. If I am advised that MCHammer has breached his profession’s code of conduct I intend also to pursue a complaint against him. But, as I say, perhaps this is time for everyone to pause, consider their actions, past and present and that includes Kelvin Thomas too because everyone keeps claiming they are all operating with the club's best interests, so should it really be this difficult to get on and help our club progress? I wish everyone here the best and hope we can stay up to "enjoy" another season in L1. Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to all Derek Krajewski
A very wise decision. All the best Derek.

So how's it going everyone? Have we decided who we should believe, follow, respect, heed. No.... Of course not. As I said at the very start of this debate. You couldn't put a rizla paper between any of them when it comes to no morals and zero respect for us.

But we've established that the electronic adverts do NOT risk anything, it's instant profit, otherwise clubs like Kettering wouldn't have them for one game, please try and keep up !
There is no need to be rude. I just made a point the same as you. If they are happy recouping the costs via the land, they don't have to necessarily go along with every idea you have. This ties into the pattern of behaviour that you and current Trust board members have. That you have an idea, then expect them to act on it, or risk derision for not doing so. I very much doubt they haven't looked into it. Along with the numerous ideas they have that keep the club running, and winning awards and sponsorship all the time. Everyone who supports the club will have an idea how to run it better, you don't have the rights on that. But when you are in the middle of these things, there are reasons why you can't meet everyone's expectations. When you manage sizeable organisations, especially if you have budgetary control, you have people coming out of the woodwork from every direction telling you how to spend it. All of them telling you they are the panacea to your problems. You have to be able to ignore that and look at what your mission is. Like I said. I doubt they, and probably another half of the football league haven't considered it.

No it’s not an opinion it’s FACT, where is the electronic advertising in stadium, what about concerts, we need a 24/7 revenue stream, the bottom line is the current ownership are happy to pump money in as debt because they know they will get it back when the club and land are monetised.
Well, you've answered yours and Rogers point. If they are happy that they will realise the return they want, without risking further capital. What is the incentive from them personally to throw money at something they don't see as necessary.

The way Peterborough are playing this season they will definitely score its if we have enough about us to score as
"well" I completely agree. They will come here as bold as brass, as will their support. Who by the way, have never had a top level club. If I'm honest, the importance I used to place on this fixtured during the early years of my supporting the Cobblers, has faded into just seeing them as annoying.

When the dtand has finished does this thread end
This thread went past any useful meaning long ago. What it has served to do, is highlight the many issues around opinions and the usefulness of airing them. In some ways, this thread is less about the single issue its inception was intended for. It has been more useful as a tool to demonstrate how challenging it is to own and operate a football club. Owners, at any level are on a hiding to nothing. Man City supporters were booing the most funded and successful football club in premiership history. There is not a person amongst us, who wouldn't like to see us playing championship football, in a big stadium. But give us a couple of years in that league, and the moaning would start about why haven't we pushed for, or funded a push for the prem. If I had the funds to buy the Cobblers a hundred times over, I wouldn't bother. Because on the whole, I don't really like football supporters. I like them as everyday people, as much as anyone. But I do not like the disjointed rationale they apply to their team, and especially the expectation that they place on spending other peoples money. Another thing this thread has served to demonstrate, is the jealousy of some. And the toxic nature of how it manifests itself. I will be happy to see the stand finished. I am even more happy the land issues have been resolved. It was always more of a curse than a blessing. I will remain optimistic and philosophical about the future of the club I love.

With the exception of a couple of managers, Brady is struggling under the same constraints. But, he should not be afforded, nor should he expect any preferential treatment if he makes mistakes that lead to a poor result. We pay to see the players achieve the best outcome they can. If that is blighted by poor managerial decisions, then he, and he alone is accountable.

He also said that the UK was heading for civil war
I would hope that he has started to look a bit closer to home with that theory. Taking into account recent activity.
