Lee Burge yet again not covering himself in glory though, went right through him.
Not been the same since he went off with that injury in the televised game with Salford a couple of years ago

Just need one of these. Problem solved. This always reminds me of the joke where a dad takes his kid to the match for the first time and after hearing a bit of ripe language a few minutes in says "look, I'll let you swear here but at the football only. Understand?" Come halftime and the kid hasn't sworn once. Nothing. So the dad, a bit surprised after giving the green light, asks him "everything alright mate?" "yes dad" "What do you think of the game?" dad follows up. "not good is it?" the boy replies. "Fancy anything to eat?" dad asks and the boy replies "yeah, can I have a fcking can of coke please?"

Many of the current teams in League 2 have had recent spells in or not long been up from non-league.
Anyway, stats for the others.....
Gillingham came down from the Championship in 2005 and have now had 20 years in L1/L2 Shrewsbury came down from the Championship in 1989 but had a year in the Conference in 2003, so its 35 out of the last 36 for them. Exeter City have never been higher than L1 level but had five years in the Conference between 2003 and 2008, otherwise they've been in the bottom two divisions every season since 1920. Leyton Orient again, two seasons in the National League 2017-2019 otherwise its 31 out of the last 33 seasons for them. Bristol Rovers, one season in the Conference, 2014 otherwise 31 of the last 32 in the bottom two tiers. Port Vale relegated from the second tier in 2000, so 25 years consecutively in L1/L2 now, the same season as Swindon Town. Walsall 21 years consecutively and counting. Bradford City also 21 years and counting...both were relegated the same season. Carlisle were relegated from the second tier in 1986 but have had one year in the Conference, 38 of 39 seasons for them. Mansfield relegated from the second tier in 1978 but spent five seasons in the Conference..... 42 out of 47.
So its us with 58 years since 1967, then Port Vale and Swindon with 25, Walsall and Bradford 21 apiece and Gillingham with 20. Accrington Stanley 19 years since promotion to the league in 2006, Morecambe 18 since 2007.
Orient went non league? I completely missed that one

It has been used as segregation before. Peterborough last season, for example. No idea how they decide which games require additional segregation - maybe on police advice? Could be wrong though.
There's been a police car down the stadium quite a few times over the past week or 2, most likely liasing over the few high profile games coming up

There’s also Middlesbrough a stones throw away, for every Darlo there’s a Luton, they average 10,000 so why build a 20,000 seat stadium, or Spurs 36,000 to 62,000
because they've thousands on their season ticket waiting list?

My point is, if they don't sell out many away allocations as you stated above, why did we give them the South and East Stands when we have supporters on the waiting list?
probably because we only sold out the home stands a couple of days ago maybe?

jealous maybe but people with money buy clubs and think they playing on Xbox and It doesn’t end well for the fans. Wrexham owners want the lime lite hope it smacks em in the face. 3-1 cobblers get down the bookies
you reckon they wern't getting enough "limelight" from the films and the telly?

I remember when Paul Cox sponsored the south stand, and knowing him, I would doubt that he paid too much for that.
There was a raffle. Winner got to have their name on the stand, hundred quid a ticket I think. Club badge has gone up on the stand.

Cobblers hattricks at Sixfields.....
Grayson v Bury on opening day 1995/96 season (12 August) was the first Cobblers hattrick. He then went on to score the quickest one v Hartlepool in January 1997.
It was over five years before the next one as Marco Gabbiadini banged in three v Colchester in September 2002. Billy Clarke came next with his hattrick against Crewe in January 2009. Leon McKenzie was next with three that put us 3-0 up v Hereford in October 2010...a game we went on to lose 4-3!
January 2017 was the next one as Keshi Anderson scored all three in our 3-0 win over Coventry in League 1 and then bringing us up to date, the last Cobblers Sixfields hattrick came on 30th October 2021 as Paul Lewis bagged all three in the win over Carlisle.
Not many in 30 years is it?

Well looking forward to a cracking cup tie anyway hopefully be a good crowd maybe even give them more tickets in the east stand depending on our demand
Away teams are entitled to 25% of the capacity in the FA Cup so just under 2000

"Kasabian being run" is generous.............Leicester scored, Tom cheered, no one did anything and the police escorted him out as he gave everyone the V's.
I've no idea what happened, I just went with how some of the more excitable posters have described it over the years
