The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Cobblers fans spotted round the UK (or the world?)

Ive spotted a couple of Cobblers shirts at the Full Moon Party before, but I'm the only Cobbler living on the island. The Thais are always wearing football shirts, you often see whole families wearing them and although I don't wear mine often (it's been out more regularly lately!) last seasons home shirt has been a big hit with the locals, they love it! It takes a while to explain who we are but I'm trying to convert as many locals as possible. A bit more success would help as there are no cheap knock-offs in the shops! There are Cobblers shirts in bars in Manilla, Bangkok, Penang and Singapore. As for the conversion rate I'm afraid it was not very good. I did however run into a couple of blokes from Northampton in Bahrain, one of whom had played with Wakely Gage, the other was a bit of a díckhead so we tended to avoid him and said he was not really a Northamptonian.

I heard they keep some bald fella locked in the basement. No one knows who he is because he's locked into a gimp mask. Apparently they melted down some claret plastic and moulded it into a twenty-four inch butt plug, which the gimp wears for twenty hours each day. One has to wonder what is in your video collection.

Can I just ask, did you feel the need to mention he's IQ because he said KC had done a good job or because he said it was a potential shock?

I'm sorry, but as long as the Trust go on about fan ownership I don't want them anywhere near the club. And as to having a place on the board that has been mentioned on here, why with their paltry share holding? What the media and the council need to understand is that the Trust do not represent the majority of the fanbase and are in effect insignificant.

If I was KT I would be taking the trust's actions as a refusal to his offer and tell them to go fúck themselves. I wonder if the trust will publish full unredacted minutes of their meeting with the council and not just pick items to suit their political agenda.

I think the mere fact that Northampton Town had the first supporters trust goes a long way towards the coverage that they still get. They will put out a statement and the local media will latch onto it, not necessarily because of who they are now, but more who they were.
Of course the fact that the media latch onto the Trust press releases then irks our Chairman, who holds a shareholding in the club so large that it doesn't really matter what anyone else says and anyone with a 2.5% shareholding doesn't necessarily "deserve" to be heard anyway.
We are where we are, the club sometimes go out of their way to promote other bodies (Sixfields Travel over Trust Travel for example) and the relationship between Trust and Club is obviously very strained.
I would say non-existant.
