Villa at the County Ground in the 80s. Hotel end packed solid. They has been giving away tokens for tickets at the two previous home games so we'd had some big crowds for those as well. 17,000 there on the day. Hitting the woodwork three times and Saint and Greavsie reckoning Villa were the luckiest team to be in the next round.
I remember it well, Villa fans destroying the Romany, they broke about 140 glasses that lunchtime, oh yeah and Walters gola was goal of the season

I have been told that Guinan was waiting to pick his son up at Booth Lane college, it was early afternoon Guinan still had his training kit on. I have been told he was driving a rather nice Bentley
He has a Jeep, complete with STEVIE G configured number plate

Saturdays result hasn't done much for my enthusiasm and I can't be bothered.
Lets hope we can change our fortunes away from home. Our record so far is useless and only Barnet have collected less points on their travels.
Blimey Trotty i thought you were one of them there diehards., Lincoln isnt the friendliest place though is it.

We could learn a lot from the saint's. They have an outdoor area full of Catering Stands, Kids activities and more importantly a Beer tent.
We could easily fence of the car park behind the North stand and do a similar thing, it could then also be used as a smoking area at half-time.
And where would the youff team park then. They did make an effort once, they put decking outside, close your eyes you could have been on a market square in Paris

Look, I'm not being shirty, and I have nothing against you personally, it's simply that this site is not a vehicle for expecting any organisation to use to formulate its policy. Any individual with serious concerns should approach organisations or individuals directly with those concerns, using open information about who you are and where you may be contacted. After all, if you had concerns about asking for a bigger bank overdraft, would you post it on here in the hope that someone from your bank may read it and look kindly upon you (which they couldn't anyway because they wouldn't know who you were)? Or is it just possible that you would write directly to your bank so they can sort it out directly for you?
Hold on a minute, the trust has used both this and the old site for its benefit in the past, even having an ask ant section, its been good enough in the past, i suggest in future the trust dont post on here when they want something unless they get to know all the posters first, it works both ways Steve .IAN TOWNSEND.

That's REALLY funny! You'd die laughing if you knew what I was paid. As a per-hour amount I can assure you it works out considerably less than the minimum hourly wage for an 18-year-old, then by the time I pay out the considerable expenses of what I do, that becomes a massive loss. The point is that when I write about the Cobblers, the motivation is the love of doing it, and I'm happy with that. Incidentally, I have no criticism of anyone who employs me, but I do of people who make assumptions as to my income.
Ahh but you have been critcal of the BBC ,

Perhaps you ought to bring a bucket along, we're used to that.
Yeah it does make you sick !! My matchday experience, avoid the Sixfields area beween 1 and 6 , go to the park with little one, play golf or watch big one play football. <----- Love the Glenville Donegal smiley

That's not important, Mark. If the bloke wants yet another bloody moan, let him have it. And the Trust did absolutely nothing to help me when I had a puncture the other day. You just wouldn't believe it, would you?
Another pointless comment, moaning about a moan, well done.
