One of the worst decisions you will see this season
A guy near to me stood up, held his two hands up and shouted 5 point 8. That about summed it up for me. Still you win some and lose some and on this occasion I will take the win.

Sad to see how the club is at the minute Can’t match forest green on or off the pitch. Get your heads round that..... Forest green. Better ground Better team Better prospects....
If you the think that's a better ground you have some very strange standards.

What we do need to do is drop Mr undropable (Taylor) and we will start keeping clean sheets.
I thought that was Hoskins! He never even gets subbed. Yes he's fast on the ball but rarely beats a man and his crosses are either over hit or straight at the nearest defender.

These days he would probably be classed as a centre back. Him and Terry Branson were our backbone. One of my favourite players from the first division team. It was great to have a chat with him at the Hotel End reunion a few years back. RIP John.

I don't believe Crooks was injured or he wouldn't have been on the bench. I think JFH was protecting him from the card trigger happy referee who sent him off earlier in the season

MK City were playing in Wolverton by the date of the game. It certainly was one of the Oldest Grove, although dont know exact dates.
Yes it was the oldest seated stand in the country. The developers of the housing on the land had to preserve it as part of the planning permission. Unfortunately a lot of the wood was rotten and they basically ended up building a replica of the original with very few of the original parts left in place.

A good question would be :
If the council grant no additional permissions on the land and want nothing more to do with us , how does that affect the stand build and are Venture happy to continue supporting the club .?
KT would no doubt waffle on with a non committal answer - but surely this is the type of thing we all need to know .
Then ask it!

Foley is fit and available for selection as far as I'm aware?
Was on the bench at the weekend unless injured in the warm up/training.
Ah ok that's the benefit of this thread as it's an update for me 😉

Thought we could have a thread on this for whenever people are injured, with any updates included.
Injured at the moment:
Crooks (Knee) - 6 Weeks Phillips (Knee) - Unknown JJOT (Groin) - 3-4 Weeks? Chris Long (Hamstring) - 3-4 Weeks? Hoskins (Ankle) 2 Weeks? McWilliams (Foot) Days?
Seem to be missing Foley

We could still do that but perhaps go with Long up top and Powell on the right instead?
I personally wouldn't mind if I never see Powell in a Cobblers shirt again. He doesn't tackle, doesn't head a ball and never tries to beat his man and get in behind the defence. I haven't seen enough of Bowdich but the Franchise FC fans seem to rate him more than Powell.

When will people realise that "safe standing" does not vastly increase capacity? It is and allocated seat space that has a fold up seat and the back acts as a barrier so that it can be used either as a seat or a standing space. It does not allow, like old fashioned terracing, to squeeze more people in.
