Cheaper, but definitely not cheap!
I thought we would make light work of this allocation but I don't blame anyone who gives it a miss at £29.

I'm just enjoying where we are and how we're playing.
It would be amazing to reach the play-offs, but it would probably be the worst thing for us in the bigger picture. Think 1998-99.
If the stand saga comes to an end next year and we can attract some investment, then that's the time to look at things differently, perhaps.
A few years of stable League One finishes and more nights like last night is all I want.

I'm in my early 30s and I think that anyone my age or younger is split on Posh as our biggest rivalry for the reasons others have stated. Massive respect to fans who grew up with a very different perspective of it.
I look forward to playing them, it's 100% a big rivalry but I'm in the camp that can take it or leave it in the knowledge that their fans don't care about us... although I also don't have a suggestion for a bigger rival in terms of geography!
Probably MK. I know we don't like to admit it, but they definitely look to us as their rivals. Will never be happy with how they came about - but they're here to stay.
Although, like Posh, we haven't played them often enough in recent years to create the anything near the history and narrative that the Posh rivalry definitely has.

More than three seasons in this league and maybe a play-off flirtation one year. Such humble dreams have I for the Cobblers after this promotion. A lot can happen in the summer and everyone starts on zero. However, I see this division as being split in two... A top eight/ten of clubs with genuine Championship credentials and then the rest. First job is to stay up, which I think we will. If we can be among the best of the rest... I'd be buzzing. An 07/08 style campaign. Looking at this, there are plenty of teams of a similar stature to ourselves. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023%E2%80%9324_EFL_League_One

One thing I rarely see our fans reflect on re: Bristol Rovers is that they did the double over us last season.
It was so harsh how it played out on the final day... but it's all water under the bridge now.
It's not lost on me that they utterly s***ehoused us in those games last season, but the two games next year will be infinitely more exciting for all that happened. Bring them on!
Fantastic day at Tranmere yesterday. So special to be reminded of how much this club means to so many people. Very grateful to everyone involved for allowing us to celebrate in the manner we did.

It's quite nice to have such a simple equation to deal with on Saturday - everyone knows if we win, we're up. No reminders needed about last season... but I seem to think that when we clinched promotion under Wilder we were relying on results elsewhere (shock, Bristol Rovers were involved again...). No doubt Andy Cook will want to leave his mark on this match, but I although I fear we might concede, I don't think Bradford's (seemingly first choice) defence have shown to be particularly resistant. Plus, this Saturday marks 17 years since we were promoted under Calderwood with a 1-0 win over Chester City. So there's an omen! Near enough 10 years on from the 2013 play-off final debacle too... maybe this time we'll be 3-0 up after 30 minutes?

Nothing to celebrate here. Quite the opposite.
With three up/three down around the corner, it could easily be us sooner than anyone would like to think.

I think a draw in the Exeter v Crewe game was a bad result for us.....ok if one or other had won then they'd be a bit further away, but being as both picked up a point they both edge that bit further away. Its not just about us making the top three, its also about overhauling both Exeter and Cheltenham, plus one of the top 3. I can't see it......obviously if we were 4th and 7 points off the top three we'd be in a better position than being 6th and 7 points off......if that makes sense!
Swindon have the easiest run in of anyone so I think they're already up....Crewe have been there or thereabouts all season so I fancy them, that leaves third between Plymouth (whose form has picked up), Exeter (who often blow up at the end of the season) and Cheltenham (who still have a game in hand)....and we'd need to overtake all three of them.
Anyway, i'd say its pretty much odds on that the current top 3 will all win again on Saturday, so we can't afford not to win our game.
If anyone fancies a flutter we are 7/2 to go up.....14/1 to make the top 3, and 4/9 to make the playoffs,
I think it’s highly fanciful to suggest we will make the top three. We’ve lost 12 games and still have to go to Plymouth Argyle, which is a nailed on 4-1 defeat 😂. The good thing about the Exeter/Crewe draw for me is that it strengthens Swindon and Plymouth’s place in the top three. Assuming we reach the playoffs... we don’t want to meet either. I wouldn’t be fearful of any of the other sides in the playoff picture, should we make it. A home first leg is probably favourable for us, too.

Argh, so frustrating. We’re talking eight wins from the last 10?
Too little, too late I think. We’ve dropped 18 points from winning positions this season 😩.

Well, I decided to watch the game online tonight and sat there, credit card clutched in hand, tried to login and it tells me my account is locked (I haven't logged in for at least a year, to be fair). I clicked the "forgot password" link and it tells me I've been sent an email. They haven't, so I've put my credit card away.
Anecdotes like this are what keep me coming back to this forum 🙌🏼.

Can somebody please explain this 'hunting' nonsense to me?
Thanks.
At the end of Austin’s post-match interview he was asked if he believed we’d stay up and he answered: ”Anything is possible, we’ve got two great games for us and people are going to be having a little look now. They’ll be looking over their shoulders because we’re hunting. We’re going hunting and we are going to hunt these down.”You can hear it hear from about 27:40 in: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p062zsqy

Look, I’m not for a second about to suggest we’ll stay up. But there’s a bit of belief growing. It must be the same for the players and coaching staff.
Imagine if we do get that win on Saturday, then beat Walsall...yeah! Imagine how crushing it’ll be to lose the last game at home to Oldham 😂
