You can't blame him, if it went tits up with us next season our fans would be the first on his back despite all he did.

Going out on a high, I had my suspicions throughout the season that he may think it's job done and look for a new challenge.

Everybody is massively jumping the gun, Sheff Utd have a manager at the moment so it's a pretty irrelevant conversation.

However if it did come up we know he'd want it, nothing saying he'd be first choice as they could attract a much bigger name manager.

Exactly, you never know what might happen. I think we've already got a decent mid table league 1 team. Just hope we can keep the key players and add a few more, don't lose the momentum, but also better to consolidate than go for broke, Stoke City being a great example of how to do it (not talking about the terrible football in the early years)

In terms of D'Ath, it's a shame as when he first came in he was brilliant and on par with Holmes at points, now he seems to have lost all confidence / got too big for his boots, just not the same player anymore. Hope he gets it back.

Although I do believe there is a general looking down on League 2 football, so maybe that plays a part.

This show is really the pits. You get extended highlights of some league 1 match, inane comments from the studio pair the woman especially need not be there at all for what she adds and some league manager who knows nothing and who's team didn't even play yesterday. Add to that the goals of the season competition did not include that wonder goal from Holmes. Boycotting from now on and watching Sky highlights instead.

Pretty sure it was goal of the year for 2015, in which case that rules Holmes out? All his bangers have been 2016. I actually think it's pretty decent. Everybody just seems to moan at whoever puts the highlights on, what do you expect? They show the highlights at a decent time on a Saturday night as opposed to gone midnight, suits me!
